Bak chor mee, kway teow soup, and all your favourite noodles are sold here. I came here several days ago, and ate their kway teow soup, which consisted of the usual ingredients, with an added fried wanton. I think the portion is quite big, as there's a lot of noodles, and the soup base is quite good. I also drank their teh, which I would not recommend, as it is too sweet, and is a tad weird, honestly. Visited this restaurant for brunch with my mum several days ago, and we had a pleasant dining experience. I ordered prawn mee soup and teh tarik, while my mum had the nasi lemak, which is very special, and teh tarik alia. The breakfast only ends at 11am, and you can only order their non-breakfast items at 11am on the dot. The prawn mee soup had a very good soup broth, and was a big portion, so do come with an empty tummy! The teh tarik was very good, as it was just the right amount of sweetness, not too sweet, not bland. My mum's nasi lemak was extremely good, as it had quite a lots of different sides, especially the satay, which was tender and very flavourful. Came here for lunch the other day, and ordered an irish lamb stew, which I've never ordered here before. It was a really big portion I would say, and nearly couldn't finish. The meat was tender, and was rather flavourful, as there was gravy and the stew broth. The mashed potato that came with it was great, and it hit the spot Other Ratings:Taste 3 | Environment 3 | Service 3 | Clean 3 | Price 3 Recommend 0 |
It's Ben & Jerry's new ice cream flavour! "Everything but the..." It has chocolate and vanilla ice cream, mixed with lots of goodies, like fudge bars, health bar chunks, peanut butter cups, white chocolate chunks, almonds I sampled it at the store, and bout 1 tub of that home. When I finally scooped out a bowlful, it was very pleasing to the palate. Although I might say this is definitely on the sweet side, I like how I get different chunks of goodies in every bite. I came here for lunch, and I saw that they had a new offer for a value meal, which contained 1 slice of kaya toast, 1 bowl of regular-sized mee siam, and 1 cup of either coffee/tea. The mee siam was quite spicy, but I saw that they added tomatoes to the gravy, so I guess that's what helped to tame the spice, but overall, the gravy was good, and the siam was reasonable, but nothing that fantastic. The kaya toast was good, as I like their kaya, which is not too sweet, but I realise that their toast gets soft very fast, so I would recommend you to eat it first. As for the tea, I think it was great, as it has always been For $5.50, I think this meal is of much value.
