I went back to Killiney's for breakfast, and this time, I ordered their french toast with butter and kaya. It took quite a while to arrive, so it's not a suitable place if you're in a hurry. When the food finally came, the toast was warm and perfectly toasted, with the taste egg, which made the wait worthwhile. I spread the kaya and butter together onto the toast, and the combination on the french toast was really yummy, and appetising too. The kaya was not too sweet, and the butter was soft and fragrant, just the right temperature to spread onto the toast. I recommend this if you're not that hungry, as this french toast has only one slice. As this is one of their new additions to their revamped menu, I'm sure many have not tried it out. Many wouldn't expect great tasting meals to come from a place which serves up mainly kopi and toast, but after trying Toast Box's laska, I changed my mind My family ordered laksa, nasi lemak and curry rice when we were there, and mind you, there's a super long queue over here at Sentosa The laksa gravy was very tasty, and it is not like others which contains coconut, it has a bit of an asam flavour to it, and there are quite a generous portion of other ingredients inside as well, like prawns, fishcakes. By the way, if you are hungry, this won't fill you up, so do order an extra something for yourself. The nasi lemak's rice was really fragrant, and I really liked it. For the curry rice, the curry had a smooth consistency, wasn't too oily or spicy as well. I think that their food is good, and y'all should try it out too Recommended Dish(es):

This place serves up gigantic pizzas, but my family decided to buy the lasagna to try. It was piping hot when it arrived, and it smelled insanely good. The meat sauce was very savoury, and it whets one's appetite. The pasta slices were cooked al dente, there was a tons of awesome baked cheese on top, and you could literally see the cheese strings as we pulled them from the lasagna There was a mound of minced beef too, which was scrumptious! One of the best lasagnas I've tasted. Recommended Dish(es):

I had this quite a while back, and it was the first time I had tried soy green tea frappe, and I was wondering how soy milk would taste like, instead of the normal milk. I think the green tea is unique, as the macha flavour is just very different from what I tried before, and I think it will only taste great if it is in a cold drink, like this. It is very refreshing, anyway. The soy was actually hardly noticeable, just that there was an added hint of soybean taste Overall, I like the drink, but I think I'll stick to my regular Just to note, this is not a coffee drink, it's one of their cream based drinks Other Ratings:Taste 3 | Environment 3 | Service 3 | Clean 3 | Price 3 Recommend 0 |
I've patronised this restaurant quite a number of times, and I always try something new, since their menu is always adding new dishes to it. This time, I ordered their chicken mushroom bamboo rice, along with teh bing and grass jelly bits. Firstly, my bamboo ride was interesting, as it was cooked in a bamboo container, which made the rice very fragrant, and the chicken, mushroom and veggies had the "stewed" texture, and also a dash of claypot rice feel to it. It's definitely filling, and because of the bamboo container, the food is kept warm throughout. The drink was so refreshing and milky, the way I like it, but I think if you're thirsty, you shouldn't add grass jelly bits, it sort of gets in your way of slurping Well, I do recommend this place.
