Well, you no need to go all the way to Penang to get the authentic Penang Prawn Mee, in Ang Mo Kio, you can find this authentic Penang Prawn Mee.

The soup base and the chili sambal are what it takes to make the trick. The strong and fragrance smell of prawn soup together with dried prawn (heh-bee) and pork slice is a perfect choice for meal. Penang food tends to be stronger taste and spicy. So, this should be one good recommendation for spice food lovers when you can self-serve with more sambal at the side of the stall. Beside the stall there is also another western stall which seems to be quite famous and always packed with people. Taiwan bubble tea ' Gong Cha' is also just opposite the stall. Making it a good drink choice for your meal. =)

It was always a favourite supper meal when I was in NTU. This nasi lemak never fails to bring you back. And whenever I was in Boon Lay Market, this is the only food I look out for.

So what is that special about this nasi lemak that make people queuing up even before they open their stall everyday? Let's check out!Alright, right in front of the stall, you will be greeted up fully decorated certs around the stall. It is enough to tell you how 'power' is this Power Nasi Lemak. Besides the normal nasi lemak (which consists of rice, kacang, ikan bilis, one egg and one fried chicken wing), there are many other side dishes that you can add on. So , variety is never a problem. Back to the nasi lemak itself. The rice has a fragrance coconut coupled with soft texture rice. Unless some nasi lemak which is basically white rice and dry. The sambal is spicy enough, good for those who always wanted for more sambal, and together with its ikan bilis. This makes a perfect dish for everyone no matter breakfast, lunch, dinner or supper.

I normally went to the main branch at Lorong Kilat. But now probably I would prefer to go for this Clementi one partly because it is less crowded. It is located at Sunset Way, along the stretch of restaurant , just beside Fortune Cuisine ( steamboat buffet ). The main attraction of Kim's Family food, besides their authentic Korean dishes and waiters (Most of the staffs are actually from Korea), is their refillable appetizers. What's more, it is really a wide range of appetizer, we got at least 10 different side dishes. Nice right?? But normally you will feel too full to refill after 2 rounds as their main dish is quite a big portion too. Alright, we ordered a set meal that comes with a BBQ pork and soya bean soup stew. Heard they are famous for their soya bean stew, so how could we miss it? Well, the BBQ pork was grilled quite well, tendered and the BBQ sauce is nice. Not bad a try! For their soya bean stew, to me, the taste is average. Not that special and tasty to me... their BBQ meat perhaps is the main attraction dish. Ordered another spicy kimchi ramen which turns out to be the 'expensive ' version of Xin La Mian. The instant noodles sold in market. Abit disappointed for this. I'm almost wanted to ask them are they using the instant mee packet and just add in some seafood.. that sell at $15 per bowl... Saddd... Anyway, their BBQ and stew are still tasty... with their REFILLABLE appetizer. Although the spicy kimchi ramen was a big hiccup, the overall dining experience was still a nice one!

It comes with slices of fruits (normally would be strawberry, honeydew etc), waffle, cookies, mashmallow and the main lead, the Anderson's Ice Cream.

For the choices of ice cream, we can choose 5 from the 10 main flavours. We tried the Belgian Chocolate Chip, Rum & Raisins, Mocha Almond, Fudge, Fruit of Forest and Vanilla. Would recommend the Belgian Choco Chip and Mocha Almond if you want something special. Choose only rum & raisin if you like some alcoholic taste in ice cream. Fruit of Forest doesn't really impress us. In fact, the berries were bit too sour which spoil the ice cream taste.

The portion is quite ok for 2 person, priced at $21.90 , bit pricey in my opinion. If you have citibank card, 10% discount . Well, if you come in a group, they actually have a bigger size (consist all the same items ) just size and amount doubled, priced at $36.90.

Got the $10 for $20 worth of Bakerzin voucher from groupon and here we go to try on the food there.

Have actually tried the cakes in Bakerzin before but this time round we decided to give a try on their meal box.

Each meal box includes a drink, a soup, cake of the day and the main dish, around $24 each set after service charge & GST. It is quite a big portion, but overall the quality is just average in my own opinion for the price range. If not for the Groupon voucher, probably it will be a bit overpriced to me.

I would prefer to try on their cakes and pastries for Bakerzin.
