Standing in front of this stall brings back memories of the 1970s where the drinks like pineapple, longan, soya beans etc.. are made and served in plastic containers and the stall holder use a long scoop to scoop the drinks into glasses or plastic bags. And yes this stall sells 6 different types of homemade drinks which are stored in the plastic containers. They sell soya bean drinks, glass jelly, pineapple, longan, waterchestnut and lime. The pineapple drinks and lime juice are really tasted like 30 years ago kind of taste, you must really try to know what i mean.

This stall sells pig's organ soup, pig's trotters and kway chap and especially on weekends mornings, the queue is non stop.At $3 a bowl, the pig's organ soup consist of pig's stomach, pig's liver, sliced fatty pork and all of them are very fresh and delicious and of course the soup is fantastic with a right mixture of salted veggies taste. The kway chap at $3 is also a good deal as the pig organ and intestine are fresh and washed properly and together with the good kway chap chilli sauces, the dish is worth the queues.

You can see many chickens hanging in the display glass and all of them looks so glossy and fresh. The chickens are extra large sized but the meat is soft and tender and the mixture of the sauces make the white chickens even more delicious. The chicken rice is equally fragrance and cooked just nice texture and the shop has got a banner but i cant remember from which recommendations on the banner it says this shop serve good chicken rice.

This stall sells prawn mee,lor mee, laksa and mee rebus and all of them at only $2.50 manned by an elderly man who looks like he's in his sixty or seventy of age but his store has a A licence from NEA and indeed his stall looks very nice and tidy. The prawn mee soup at $2.50 is really value for money as soup is tasty and the noodles and bean sprouts are cooked just right texture. The prawns are very fresh but just normal small sized prawns and before i left,i told him his prawn noodles soup is good and maybe he can consider to sell bigger prawns at a highter price as he already got me to come back for more.

Categories : Singaporean | Food Court

This stall is what we call the coffee stall of a coffeeshop/foodcourt as it is the main stall selling freshly brewed coffee and tea and the whole foodcourt closes at 10pm but very unfortunately at 9.30pm the queue is still at this stall for the drinks and there are other customers in front of me wanting coffee like myself but the hot drinks are sold out and i have to settle for other drinks since i had already wasted time queueing not knowing they won't make any more hot drinks.Had the lime juice at $1.80 and it was very tasty, not too sweet or sour but very fragrance and deliciious and sour plum was added to my glass.
