Raosted Delight  Cry Nov 06, 2012
Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Food Court | Roasted Meat

Went to Takashimaya with friend to shop around. After shopping, both of us felt hungry so we decided to have our lunch at Food Village which located at B2.

I choose to go for the duck rice which offered by Roasted delight as I saw the queue was long and I thought that the must be something special to attract those people so I queue for it also.

I sort of regret the decision I made. ==

The duck rice tasted “below” normal. The rice was not well-cooked. It was hard. And the duck was hard also but it was acceptable. The sauce served was salty.

But the aunty did gave a very nice and freindly service.

Mini Wok Cry Nov 02, 2012

Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Food Court | Zi Char

Felt like eating fried rice last Tuesday, so I decided to order beef friend rice from mini wok stall. The beef fried rice on that day was a disappointment.

The rice was sticky and very salty. But I do like the soup they served. The tastes of dishes from mini wok are always not constant. Ordering from mini wok is like gambling as you need luck.

Will not visit this stall recently.

Bubble Tea!!! Cry Sep 27, 2012

Categories : Taiwanese | Bubble Tea/ Tea

While I was shopping with my friends at ang mo kio hub after school, I felt thirsty and I was craving for something sweet while refreshing drinks, so i decided to go for pearl milk tea from gong cha.

The drinks was a disappointment. The pearl was not chewy at all and it was not fresh and the portion of the pearl was little compare to Koi. The milk tea tasted horrible. I prefer the milk tea from cha time more.

For me, the nicest drinks from gong cha is only melon tea.

korean Cry Jul 31, 2012   (Related Review)

the korean sttall in nanyang polytechnic koufu is always my favourite stall because I love Korean food and their Korean food is cheap and quite nice although it is not so authentic. The Korean noodle looks quite nice in the signboard, is I decided to order it but I regretted because it is quite disappointing. The noodle is the instant noodle, and the soup is also cooked from the instant noodle powder, very much of the artificial seasoning. The only difference is that they added some ingredient like the eggs and kimchi.

muffn Cry Jul 26, 2012

Categories : Japanese | Bakery | Stall / Kiosk

The steamed cakes come from Hokkaido and all the ingredients used are from Japan. Supposedly very healthy too cuz they are ”non-oil” and the flavourings are “natural”.

I tried the matcha (green tea) kintoki and kurogoma (black sesame) mochi kintoki ($2 each)… And was disappointed. Bland, texture was sticky and chewy rather than soft and fluffy. Maybe like our Chinese “huat kueh”? Anyway, these cakes are really “what you see is what you get” cuz the sweet kintoki beans/mochi are limited to the top of the cakes.
