The King Louis Bar & Grill located at the top floor of Vivo City, close to where Daiso is. The restaurant serves all sort of grilled food, and there's live band from time to time. Good voices there. First time there, so we mostly ordered the 'signature' dish recommended on the menu. I had the
Must try Provencal Porkloin ($23.50), but it turned out to be my least favourite dish of the night. The slow cooked porkloin is thin in slices, grilled and served with creamy mushroom sauce, but I find it dry and tasteless.
The
King Louis Signature Premium BBQ Baby Back Ribs (Half - $18.90) is good though. The ribs is cooked to perfection and with a layer of sweet sauce glazed on it. Tender, and flavourful, together with mesclun, corn salsa and straight cut fries, gorgeous plate of food!
Oven baked pacific king prawns ($23.90) is a disappoinment though. The traditional baked king prawns with fresh tomato and melted cheddar cheese, tastes Ok but not overly fresh. The prawns didn't have the crunchy texture, what a shame.
Pan fried fillet of snapper ($18.90) is a good one! The fish is cooked nicely, good flavour and very fresh. Served with roasted potato, french beans, corn salsa, semi roasted cherry tomatoes, this balanced complete dish is just simple yet great!
