Good food here! Smile May 22, 2014

Fish & Co is quite a regular choice for my family to dine when we're here at Vivo. We generally order the same stuff and here's what we think:
1) Fish Chowder - we completed our set and it comes with a soup. Soup is actually quite good. Creamy and no fishy taste.
2) Prawn Aglio Olio - the pasta itself was pretty bland but the prawns were nicely seasoned and grilled. So together with the prawns, not bad.

3) Fried Calamari - I honestly feel that Fish & Co makes the best calamari batter! It's well seasoned and each ring is nicely coated, then

fried to awesomeness! I can eat the whole dish by myself!!!

4) Peri-Peri Chicken & Arctic Fish - the peri-peri sauce is not spicy much, just a slight zinc to the chicken. The Arctic fish is nicely deep fried so not much fishy taste there, tho I found it pretty dry on its own.

I love Fish & Co and this outlet doesn't disappoint. Service is sincere but slightly shorthanded when its running at full house. I'm a returning customer for sure!

My family loves IKEA Alexandra and it's restaurant. We just do. Many complain but we're still fans.
They have a new dish on the menu and it's Pork Ribs with Fries. Well, the ribs are a generous slab of about 5 ribs. Tasty wise is ok but a tad too dry. It's without sauce so the overall pretty dry.
The other dishes are well covered so I won't add on.
I'll be back definitely!

QUITE Nice Smile May 22, 2014

After successfully hunting down the cafe, we were welcomed by a clean and chic interior. Amongst the 3 of us, we had:
1) Mushroom Soup - this came as part of a set and it's quite good. Not out of a can for sure.
2) Seared Seabass in cream sauce - expected fishy taste but it was actually very delightful. Flavourful but not heavy with the cream sauce.
3) Baked Seafood Pasta - fresh ingredients with the pasta done al dente. Though I found the pasta slightly bland, easily fixed with a few dash of salt.
4) Hamburger - daughter had that she liked it enough.
5) Cheesecake - these came complimentary because my daughter was enjoying her lunch with such looks of happiness. Haha... Cheesecake was nice enough. Not the heavy type without losing the flavour.
Will return if in the area.

More Misses than Hits OK May 22, 2014

There is much hype about this place so our expectations we're heighten too.
We ordered Nasi Goreng Chicken Masala and the Bawang Telor Prata. Truth be told, both were at best ok only. We found the fried rice and Prata to be super oily. The flavour is there but can't help but feel that the food is kinda mass-produced but little love leh.
In fact, the whole Coffeeshop seemed to be super oily! The floor was greasy and so were the cutlery. After the meal, I can't help but feel greasy myself too.
We're not likely to return. sad

Hi-Tea indeed Smile May 21, 2014

Very nice place to chill with girlfriends over premium tea and pastries.
The pretty bite-size pastries are pretty to look at and tasty to eat. If you are looking for the usual buffet spread, then you'll be disappointed. The drinks served are mainly tea so the term hi-tea here is aptly used.
