Essentially a place selling vegetarian food in a trendy cafe setting. They have both western and asian favourites which were prepared in a kitchen just away from the main seating area. At the seating area itself, they have shelves and shelves of books for folks to read while enjoying their meals.
I found their food quite nice as vegetarian food is not easy to achieve full flavour. I personally won't eat here again unless a treat is given!

Decided to pop in here to check this place out.
Mushroom Soup - they made effort to add bits of mushroom and onions for that bite. Nice!
Garlic Bread - long focaccia slices of bread with herbs and garlic bits on top. Nicely grilled too.
Spag Chicken Bolognese - daughter had this and she likes it! I tried and it's good too! Not too tangy and there's minced chicken & carrot bits in it too.
Squid Ink Pasta - generous serving of pasta with ingredients. Served hot and taste is ok. Squid is too tough tho.
Service is prompt and polite. Water is also free and self-service! Definitely a plus point here!

I also go for their Baked Cheese Rice with Pork Chop with their Borsch Soup. I dunno if their Borsch Soup is authentic but I really don't care, I LOVE it!!! I can drink bowls and bowls of it. It's tangy and full of vege, it's just really really nice!
The baked rice itself is also quite good. The rice is essentially fried rice with egg and there is a nice taste on its own. Then they serve it with 2 slices of grilled pork chops and then baked it with a layer of cheese on top. I like the combination of the layers and it's easy on the stomach and wallet too.

We were around the area and decided to come by for a late lunch.
Lamb Shank - Hubby liked it enough as the serving is quite ok. Taste wise, it is also not bad.
Seafood Marinara - my default order...the ingredients are pretty fresh and also adequate in amount. But i don't quite love the sauce, it's ok but I guess I wanted more.
Sausage Pasta - daughter like it but I found it a tad too salty. This is very much a kiddie dish, not very gourmet indeed.
We were happy enough with our lunch but not somewhere we will return though. The price of lunch was not too cheap too.

We tried something else this time round...just to supplement my earlier review...
Sausage Platter - there are 3 different sausages in the platter and I liked the darker ones better. The lightest one I think was chicken and found it rather bland. My daughter turned out to be a fan and abandoned her own food to attack mine.
Oh well...
