Fishballs 👍🏼 Smile Apr 30, 2015

This is a 4 star-rating because their fishballs are made fresh at the stall. So the result is really bouncy springy lovely fishballs!!

They also have a choice of their homemade meatballs! And those are great too!!!!

The Chilli they used for flavoring their noodles also deserve special mention. Very fragrant and tasty, totally added life to a humble bowl of carbo.

The only drawback was their soup. Not sure if they added a tad too much water that day I ate but it was bland. 😞

Definitely a place to return to! 👍🏼

Quite disappointed to try the food after reading so much good reviews!

We ordered their sliced pork bowl and 1 bowl of their big intestines. Together with the sides dishes - braided peanuts, Mui chai and fried youtiao.

Their peppery soup was rather tasteless and tho you can taste the pepper, that's pretty much about it. The sliced pork was a little too fatty for my liking as half the slice will be the fats!

The intestines was a little porky in the taste but I guess some folks like that.

The side dishes were the decent ones that I have no complains about.

All the above with 2 bowls of rice came up to $20 which I thought was a tad expensive as the slices of pork in the bowl was quite little.

Safe to say I'm not coming back. 😞

Strange Name but good food Smile Nov 15, 2014

Girlfriends and I were enjoying a nice get-together over good food. We started with a pumpkin soup which was velvety and flavourful! Loved it!

We then ordered 4 different pastas (Mushroom Risotto, Sun-dried Tomato Pasta , Carbonara and Seafood Linguine) and they all tasted pretty good actually!

Ladies MUST have desserts so we had 3 to share. We ordered Red Velvet Deluxe, Bailey's Extraordinary and Double Decker Mud Cake. I appreciated that their desserts are not the run-of-the-mill type and good tasting too!

With starter, soup, main, dessert and tea, the bill came up to about $30 per pax which I thought is very decent. Definitely a revisit when in the area.

Love Their Burgers Smile Nov 15, 2014

With no kids in tow for the night, we decided to venture to this joint with limited parking around.

We started with a Corn Chips with Queso Chilli and damn it was goooood! Glad my hubby insisted on ordering it!

He had the Bleu Cheese Peppercorn burger and I stole a bite. I would say it's more peppercorn than Bleu cheese taste there. Not a bad tasting burger at all.

I had the Swiss Shroom Burger and it's good! Lots of oozing cheese and chunky mushrooms juicy patty!

Had the vanilla milkshake and it's definitely made of good stuff! Very yummy!!!

Definitely scratched our burger itch!! Will be back again when our itch acts up again!! ✌️

Wow! Now i know and understand what the queue is about. Luckily for me, I was the third in queue and almost wanted to leave the queue. But I stuck on as I also dunno what else to eat. What a great choice I made to stay in the queue.

I ordered kway chap with:
• braised egg
• daupok
• pork belly slices
• fish cake
• preserved Vege

All this for $3.50!!!!

The braised pork belly slices is not funny kind of nice! Super flavourful! The braised sauce is good thus the Kway chap also shiok! My only complain is that the egg's outer layer is a little tough. Other than that, I had an awesome lunch!! 😊
