was shopping at bugis junction and bought some snack from fei siong. i gotten the seafood tofu and it tasted not bad other than the salty part. but the barley drink was quite horrible, it was way too sweet and i could hardly taste any barley in it. it just tasted like syrup and the drink was very thick so i did not like it

went down to eat the zhi char with my parents for dinner, wanted to eat at another store but it was closed for renovation so we decided to give ming kitchen a try.
the first impression was not that good already because the dishes from the menu were not exactly to our liking but we just ordered fried omelette, stir fry kai lan and claypot chicken to settle our meal. although we did not order anything spicy, somehow all the food turn out to be spicy and salty. we totally did not enjoy the food and will not patron again

tried several of their dishes before but i think they are just average and i would actually avoid this store unless i have absolutely nothing to eat. the lor mee and laksa were very average, the taste were actually kind of blend especially laksa which i felt aunty did not add enough coconut milk. as for the hokkien mee was quite horrible. the ingredients were very pathetic, probably one prawn and a few slices of fish cake, so i was practically just eating noodle and to make it worse, the noodle does not have any taste. so far i am quite disappointed with this store

was craving for bubble tea and noticed this newer bubble tea store so decided to give it a try. the variety was quite typical, nothing too fanciful so i just ordered the normal milk tea to try and it was far from ok. i could hardly taste any tea and instead it has this funny taste which i do not know how to describe. so that was definitely the first and last time i trying from this store

went down to try with mama because other places were flooded with people during dinner. we ordered a sushi platter and chicken ramen, we were actually quite excited about trying new food because the food on the menu looks quite nice and both of us were disappointed to the max. the sushi tasted even worst than those we can get off the shelve in NTUC for a much cheaper price and the rice they used were just normal rice, is far from what i call sushi. the ramen was the WORST thing i ever eaten, the noodle taste like maggie mee and the soup was like mee soto. i suspect because the place is halal so the cooking style is very different from the norm but the taste was just far from acceptable. and i will never step into this restaurant again
