fruits Cry Oct 02, 2011

Categories : Singaporean | Hawker Centre

My office just shifted to raffles quay. I went there for lunch. The place was so pack. Usually we got to dao bao food back to office as is tough for us to get a seat. That day i went to the fruits store and buy a cup of green apple mix orange juice. I was shocked when the person told me it cost $3.50. I feel is far too expensive for a cup of fruits juice and at such places. Unless is in those reastaurant i can understand. I swear this will be my first and also last time buying from them!!

Spending per head: Approximately $3.50

wendy's Cry Oct 01, 2011

Photo from the menu might fool consumer and this is how I got tricked into believing that the food taste great. I didn't really sit there to eat as the area is pretty small and crowded during lunch time. Although it's much more healthier than some fast food restaurant BUT the food taste awful. And the food sever looks differently from what we seen in the menu . Sadly to say, Wendy's in America seemed to be reputable but I guess in local, i guess it didn't live up to standard as what it's serve back in state. After trying it once, I don't think I'll ever be going back again to this restaurant till I see or hear better reviews or comment from other consumer.

swensen's Cry Sep 30, 2011

Used to eat at Swensen's regularly but the standards have dropped tremendously so I stopped eating there for a while. Initially wanted to head somewhere else for late dinner but eventually decided on Swensen's and i ordered a lamb chop which comes with mint jelly, U.S potatoes and seasonal vegetables. It was a little over-grilled as the meat is abit tough.service is average and the waiters are not very attentive.everything is average here, nothing to impress us and not much to pick.

Craving for bubble tea again, so i decided to walk all the way from my office to china square central to try out kawa cafe bubble tea. This cafe looks very attractive in tems of the interior layout design which looks very nice to me, as usual, i bought my favourite drink again "green pearl milk tea". Their service was fast as i only just waited only 2mins for my drink, but sadly the drink disappoint me it's tasted diluted and the pearl was very soggy.
This drink cost me $3.50, which i think don't even worth that much!

At changi airport T1 while waiting for my relative arriving in singapore this afternoon, my family and i reach early to the airport and had puff and coffee from pola. The ambience of the location is nice and quite, but the food here are not cheap and badly done. we order one cake and puff each and 2cups of coffee which cost about $9.50, the thing is that their cake doesn't taste great and puff was a little soggy.if you are a cake or puff lover, i'm afraid this outlet cake and puff might disappoint you!
