The server was really friendly, offering us tastes of almost all the flavours
The one flavour that i like was Kick S Salt Caramel, It’s essentially a burnt caramel with a hint of salt, and I was sold by just one taste.. I like the the richness and texture of the ice cream

we went there on Saturday to try our luck. It was only about 4 pm, but they had run out of their regular-sized chicken pies, and only had the minis left. We had 2 of the minis and got a quarter portion of the strawberry shortcake to go, because again they didn’t have the single slices available
The pies were surprisingly good. The filling was potato, carrot and shredded chicken and no peas! It wasn’t too creamy either
The strawberry shortcake was absolutely divine. This is also no-frill, no fresh strawberry slices or anything. Just sponge cake that literally melts in your mouth, layers of strawberry jam and sweetened whipped cream
To avoid disappointment, I would suggest calling ahead to reserve anything that you like, because the display cases were quite half empty by 4 pm.

Abit over priced Smile Oct 29, 2011

I was there with my wife
When we got there, we were so early that a queue hadn’t even formed yet, and they were just about getting the first batch of balls nicely browned. We placed our order, and were told to return in 5 minutes to pick it up.
The Tako balls outside is browned and crisp, and when you cut into it
I would advise not biting into a freshly cooked one cos it’s steaming hot!!
But i find that is a bit over priced...

Curry Puff  Smile Oct 28, 2011

This is the best curry puff ever.
The auntie is friendly ,often chat with us
The pastry is paper thin yet not too fragile, crisp yet not too oily. She’s extremely generous with the filling, which consists of potatoes, a wedge of hard boiled egg and tender chicken thigh piecesII

Vom Fass Smile Oct 28, 2011

Apparently the store has loads of different types of flavoured oils, vinegars, cognacs and spirits, and you can taste them all there. If you bring back the little bottles, I think they can refill them for you too.Bought their raspberry vinegar, pumpkin seed oil
The raspberry vinegar has a very fresh and I think it’ll work very well in salads. The pumpkin seed oil was surprisingly dark and very intensely flavoured. The balsamic was really smooth and mellow, not tart and acidic like regular cooking-grade balsamic vinegar
In terms of bread-dipping, the pumpkin oil and balsamic vinegar tasted interesting on their own, but really complemented each other when paired.
