The server was really friendly, offering us tastes of almost all the flavours
The one flavour that i like was Kick S Salt Caramel, It’s essentially a burnt caramel with a hint of salt, and I was sold by just one taste.. I like the the richness and texture of the ice cream

One on the bund OK Oct 29, 2011

I was there with my wife
The first course was a trio of asparagus dipped in sesame seeds, scallop with pomelo and yuzu sauce, and a vegetable roll with beancurd skin. I found everything a little tasteless, and the scallops tasted slightly fishy too
Next up was the chilli and fennel prawns, and the fried fish fillet with salted egg yolk. I like anything that’s prepared with salted egg yolk so the fish was right up my alley. The prawn wasn’t too bad but general consensus was that it was pretty spicy
Being a Shanghainese restaurant, I had high hopes for both their xiao long baos and their home-made noodles. Both were unfortunately a let-down. The skin for the xiao long bao was really thick, and there wasn’t enough soup in each of them. The meat inside was well seasoned, though. As for the noodles, maybe we were just too full by then, but I found them way too thick and starchy

we went there on Saturday to try our luck. It was only about 4 pm, but they had run out of their regular-sized chicken pies, and only had the minis left. We had 2 of the minis and got a quarter portion of the strawberry shortcake to go, because again they didn’t have the single slices available
The pies were surprisingly good. The filling was potato, carrot and shredded chicken and no peas! It wasn’t too creamy either
The strawberry shortcake was absolutely divine. This is also no-frill, no fresh strawberry slices or anything. Just sponge cake that literally melts in your mouth, layers of strawberry jam and sweetened whipped cream
To avoid disappointment, I would suggest calling ahead to reserve anything that you like, because the display cases were quite half empty by 4 pm.

This is my 3rd time having lunch in MOF but is my first time to nex outlet
As my wife was not feeling well,we requested for a cup of warm water and waitress told us need to pay 30cent per cent ,no matter is warm or cold water and advise us that we take green tea which cost $1.20 per cup and can refill
We was a bit pissed off ,as plain water should be free but they charge us 0.30cent which is so unfair....
Anyway we just ordered the green tea,Is very thick and greeny
The tuna temaki which cost $2.80 is not bad,Seaweed skin is crispy
For the tantan ramen,is mild spicy, the soup base is abit oily
Noodles is springly while meat is soft
I don't think i will come here again as i don't really worth the price

My wife wanted to try this,we bought 1 M size cup to share
It cost $3.30 for a cup without any topping, add 0.70cent for topping
Their yogurt have the digestive biscuit taste, which is quite refreshing & doesn't melt so fast,it tasted a bit like "sour sally" just that is not very sour nor too sweet
