When it was feeling cold for the day. I would always go for something soupy to warm my stomach.
And I ordered this Tom Yam soup while lunching at NP - Munch Canteen.It was a satisfying meal though the soup does not really tastes like thai tom yam those authentic taste, it still tasted well and the ingredients i found inside the soup compensated for the lack of soup tastes.

Thus, given a second opportunity i would love to go back this stall and perhaps order other stuffs to try.

Macarons from Laduree!

Though I am a bit late to comment about the macaron craze from Laduree stores but I still hope my comments can benefits other readers out there

Knowing that I am a fan of dessert, my sister bought me macarons from Laduree. Heard from her that there are 2 Laduree stores at Takashimaya and is it best to go to the main store rather then the take-away store since it has lesser queue (not sure now if it still have queue) but anyway, I got to try the blackcurrant, bergamot and coffee.

Among these three, I personally prefer the coffee macaron as it tastes good as though as you are drinking a coffee. The bergamot is lemon it tasted well too with a bit of sour yet sweet lemon taste. Lastly, the macaroon of blackcurrant, perhaps blackcurrant is quite a normal flavour, I will not try blackcurrant macaron the next time since they are so many other flavours waiting to be try!

Rushing for lesson and feeling hungry at the same time? Head down to Mr Bean at munch and grab a pancake!

In the early morning, I did not have any time to have my breakfast. I will head over to Mr Bean and order their hot and fluffy pancake. I realised that the staff will make additional pancakes which I felt that they should make only a few extra of each flavour and not too many. Because once the temperature in the pancakes cooled down, the skin will be harder to chew. Hence, each time when I order, I will make sure the pancakes were the hot ones so that I could enjoy the greatness of the pancake and not getting any hard time chewing it.

Nevertheless, Mr Bean pancake still tastes really great. Definitely will patronise again to try out different flavours of the pancakes.

In the early morning, i feel like having McDonald's HOTCAKES for my breakfast !
Hence, i headed over to North Point to fulfill it ! I ordered hotcakes and my sister ordered egg muffin !
When hotcakes are soft and hot it tastes awesome, after adding the maple syrup and butter on the hotcakes was even more awesome ! Usually, i would add a little of the syrup and half of the butter.
This is because i did not like the hotcakes to taste too sweet and salty as a result spoiling the goodness of the hotcakes. How i wish McDonald Hotcakes would student price so that all students could afford it all the time.. At the same time, i could get to eat the hotcakes more often. Sometimes, i find it a little pricey and think that it is not that worth it to pay the price for just three pancakes. However, i would still go back to McDonald to purchase Hotcakes because i just can't resist the temptation of McDonald's Hotcakes.

Decided to be vegetarian for a day !

This is my first time trying out the food at the vegetarian stall.
I ordered brown rice because it is healthy. What i didn't expect was that, the portion given to me was huge. Not just the rice, the potatoes, cabbages and pumpkins too. The cost of the food is $2.20 ( Affordable price )
I could hardly finish everything as the portion is too much for me.
The brown rice was well cooked as is not too dry and sticky. I dislike eating rice that is sticky and lumpy. When the rice is sticky and lumpy, it is obvious that the person who cooked the rice did not add enough water.
Anyway, i have to emphasize that the cabbages are well cooked too. It is fresh and crunchy.
As for the pumpkin, i guess it put there for quite awhile, hence the aftertaste is not that good. For the potatoes wise, i have to give a thumb up. Since young, potatoes have been my favourite.
It is healthy as one medium size potato has no fat, sodium or cholesterol and it even provides 45% of our daily value of vitamic C
My verdict for this plate of food: 4/5 !
