Hot Fudge Chocolate Cake OK Mar 04, 2013

Categories : Restaurant | Seafood | Kids-Friendly

Went to the fish and co outlet at jurong point that day and tried out their Hot Fudge Chocolate Cake for the first time! It was very good. The taste of the chocolate was thick and velvety, and the vanilla ice cream complemented the cake as well. It was a first for me as I have never tried eating ice cream together with cake before, so the experience was pretty good haha.

Nana's Green Tea Cafe OK Mar 04, 2013

Yayyyyy! It was a day of excitement and anticipation as we visited JCube - Nana's Green Tea Cafe! It's supposedly from Japan and has been advertised by Japanese artistes! What's more is that I love love love green tea! So you could guess my excitement haha.

It was free seating and the staff were nice. You can get water from the side if you don't want to order their drinks. They offer quite a comprehensive menu with set meals to desserts. I went for the Matcha Parfait, which was in short green tea ice cream with azuki beans, oh but with chunks of red bean paste, green tea syrup, cornflakes, mochi and jellies. It was pretty good although I would say it wasn't as good as expected? Maybe I had too expectations anyway. But it is a must-try for green tea addicts!

Seoul Garden Buffet OK Mar 04, 2013

Again it's time for buffet! I remember having the lunch buffet at my secondary school days hehe. And I have went back to the same branch at woodlands after it has been revamped. The variety remained about the same but I really like the tom yam marinated meat! Seoul Garden offers quite a lot choices and lets you pick how much you want at whatever portion you like. They have spaghetti, rice, desserts and ice cream! Good place to hang out with friends too.

Ji De Chi Desserts OK Mar 04, 2013

Being a fan of snow ice, I ordered the Mango Strawberry Flavour Snowy Ice. It was rich in mango and strawbery taste, with strawberry slices and mango cubes. It was drizzled woth passionfruit sauce I think, which added extra flavour to the dessert! There were lychee pearls and rice balls too. I loved the lychee balls, which contained lychee flavoured syrup. It just burst in your mouth.

Kung Fu Paradise OK Mar 04, 2013

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Kids-Friendly

Went with friends to JCube and decided to go Kung Fu Paradise for dinner. Had to wait for awhile before we had seats due to the dinner crowd. I had ordered the fish baked rice, being a fan of baked rice. The portion was quite large. The taste was cheesy but really nice and went well with the fish. However, the staff took very long to bring us our food as we waited nearly for 40 minutes at our seats before the staff brought us our food. My friends had to wait even longer. There wasn't alot of people then and I am guessing that they were probably understaffed. Nevertheless, it was a good gathering place for friends and family and the seats were comfy.
