ORTU @ Trattoria Gallo D'Oro Smile May 29, 2012

Thanks to Open Rice, I get a chance to visit this restaurant which is located at the quiet Central Mall.

In general, the food is delicious. However, if you would like me to choose my favourite dish, I will say that it is the Casonsei alla Bergamasca (stuffed veal ravioli served with golden butter, crispy bacon and sage). It smells and taste really good! Most importantly, the filling in the pasta (ie ravioli) is fresh. smile

Another dish which I will strongly recommend one to try is the Branzino intero al forno (oven baked whole sea bass with leeks and Italian herbs). Usually, I do not like whole fish (as compared to fillet) as I dislike the fishy taste and smell. However, the chef is very generous in adding herbs that there is no fishy taste and smell at all! This is also a healthy dish which is prefect for those who are on diet. Who says that you can't have yummy food while dieting? tongue

Love to dine at Korean restaurant as there is always a hige variety of side dishes!

This is the first time I visit this restaurant and I will definitely visit it again. The food is simply yummy! Ordered the BBQ beef lunch set ($11.80). The beef is well marinated, juicy and tender. The rice is sweet and warm when served. Definitely recommend one to try it!

As for the side dishes, I love the pancake and bean sprouts. However, I understand that the side dishes change everyday. Hence, if you are lucky, you will be able to try the yummy pancake!

Dinner @ Pu Tien Smile May 23, 2012

Love dining at Pu Tien as the food is always so delicious. The fried yam cube (first pic) is a dish which I will strongly recommend to all yam lovers as it tastes really good. In fact, I think I ate about than 10 pieces! The fried bun with meat (second pic) is also very tasty. The serving of the meat is also kinda generous.

Personally, I prefer to visit this restaurant on weekday as the service is better. In fact, the waitress is very friendly and prompt in meeting my request (such as top up drinks, clear plates, etc)

Lovely Cafe Smile Apr 23, 2012

An ideal place to catch up with friends - this is how I would describe this lovely cafe.

From outside, this place looks more like a place which sells figurines. If not for the fact that a poster of the menu is placed outside the cafe, I believe many people will not know that it is a place for dining.

Ordered the smoked salmon toasties ($14.95) and scones ($7.95) which taste good. Personally, I love the way in which the scones are served (as shown in picture).

A nice cafe located in Parco Millenia Walk. This is perhaps the reason why this place is not crowded during dinner time, definitely a good place to chill out. smile

This place serves food which is fresh and tasty too. In fact, am kinda pleased with all the food (i.e. carbonara pasta, lemon pie, mushroom soup) which I have ordered. Price of the food is also kinda reasonable too. Will strongly recommend one to visit this cafe. Thumb up!
