Starz Breakfast Smile Feb 21, 2012

Not only is there a huge variety of food, I like the ambience of this restaurant too. Feel really relax having breakfast at this place, reading newspapers and chilling out. smile

Despite the fact that this restaurant serves nothing special (same breakfast spread as most hotel restaurant), I will recommend one to visit this place given the ambience (it is besides the pool) and the prompt service. For coffee lovers, do note that the place serves a variety of coffee (cappucino, latte, etc).

Handburger Smile Jan 25, 2012

Received an email from Handburger that I can enjoy free flow of cheese fries when I order either the Oxacan beef burger or Pig in the Basket (as shown in the picture of the menu) and hence, decided to visit Handburger to enjoy this good deal! Though the cheese fries taste quite nice as the fries are freshly cooked (still warm when served), I find that the serving of the cheese should be more generous. As for the burger, it is kinda tasty and the soup tastes good as well (taste quite similar to the one from Soup Spoon). Will recommend this place to all burger lovers!

Local Delight Craze Smile Jan 19, 2012

Though Chatterbox is famous for its chicken rice, the rest of the local delights taste as good. smile I would recommend one to try the Nasi Goreng (as shown in picture). Served with fried egg and juicy (yet not fatty) satay, the Nasi Goreng is a main course which I believe many people will love after trying it. In fact, I prefer the Nasi Goreng to the famous chicken rice. Located in Meritus Mandarin hotel, it is inevitable that the food is not as wallet friendly. tongue

Boon Tong Kee Chicken Rice Smile Jan 10, 2012

Strongly recommend this place to all the chicken rice lovers. The food is simply delicious! Though the salted/ century egg with vegetable ( as shown in picture) is not one of the restaurant recommended dishes, it tastes good as well. However, do note that this place has no aircon and is charging service charge and gst (unlike the usual coffee shops in which there is no service charge and gst). In addition, you will also have to pay for the appetizers (which is served to you without you having to order) if you do not tell the waitress that you do not want them.

Ramen  Smile Dec 27, 2011

I will recommend you to go to Ajisen if you wanna have Japanese Ramen which is value for money. The Ramen sets which include Ramen, side dish and drink, range from $12 to $14.90.

Tried the black soup cha shu Ramen (as shown in picture) which I think is a good choice. Despite the fact that garlic oil is added to the Ramen soup (and hence, it is black), the Ramen is not oily. However, there is something which I think Ajisen can improve - that is to serve boiled egg in which the egg yolk is half cooked (like those that is typically served in most Japanese restaurant)
