This place serves nice coffee, however, I feel that the coffee is relatively expensive. The cuppacino (as shown in picture) is $5.80 and it is a small serving. If you prefer something special such as Hazelnut or vanilla cuppacino, you will need to top additional $0.50.

Personally, I feel that the staff are also very robotic (not as friendly as other cafes such as Starbucks). Hence, my first experience isn't fantastic even though the coffee tastes great.

Honestly, the food from Sakae Sushi only tastes average and the service is also not fantastic. However, I believe that the restaurant is kinda popular given the fact that there are many branches and the prices are quite reasonable. There is also a huge variety of food (if you notice there are always new dishes in the menu). Personally, I like to order the salmon side dish (as shown in the second picture) as I think that it is quite value of money. It tastes good and the serving is relatively huge. However, this is not always available.

This is the first time I visit this restaurant and my first impression is that there is nothing great about this place. In fact, I will rate it as an average restaurant that I don't mind visiting if there isn't a long queue. Given that all the seats in the restaurant are all taken up, I gotta sit outside which is kinda warm.

Ordered the grill fish with chips which tastes average. The fish is slightly soggy and the fries are not as crispy as I have expected. In short, I am quite disappointed with the food.

As compared to the Old HK branch in Novena, I feel that this restaurant is kinda old. The seats are torn and the paint on the wall are flaky. Honestly, I am kinda shocked that the management did not make any effort to renovate. As for the food, I feel that the dim sums are not as nice as I have expected. They seem to have been kept in the cooker for very long. However, the cooked dishes such as si ji dou, fried carrot cake and porridge taste quite good.

Generally, the food from this cafe tastes quite good. However, I find that the price is slightly higher as compared to the other HK cafes such as Xin Wang,etc. The service is also not very good as the waitress seems to have very knowledge of the food the cafe is serving. I ordered a Horlick and she serves me a drink which is dark brown in colour with cream on top. And when I highlighted to her that it is not Horlick, she insisted that it is.

Nevertheless, if you ever visit this cafe, I will recommend that you try the Yang Chow fried rice. Not only is it tasty, it is also not oily.
