Yummy Salad Smile Dec 22, 2011

Categories : Café | Juices | Kids-Friendly

Believe this place should have been opened not too long ago as I am one who requested it to be included the list of eateries in open rice.smile

Though I am not a salad fan, I will definitely visit this cafe again as I think that the caesar salad which I have tried at The Fruit Basket is one of the best caesar salad in Singapore. The vegetables are so fresh. Generous servings of chicken and bacon are added to the salad which make it very tasty and most importantly, one will be full after having the salad (and hence, it is suitable as meal!)

The ala carte price of the caesar salad is $8.80. One can also top up to $11.40 to get a fruit juice together with the salad. What a healthy lunch!

The popular Bee Hoon Stall Smile Nov 05, 2011
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Hawker Centre | Noodles

This is one of the best bee hoon stall which I have visited as the food are all freshly prepared (you can see that cook is still cooking the food even during lunch time!) However,if you do not wish to be caught in a long queue, avoid going during lunch time (between 12 noon to 1.30pm).

I will usually choose the following (as shown in picture):
1. Bee Hoon (which I think it tastes better than the noodle. You can also choose to have a mix of both)
2. Egg (I like it as the yolk is usually watery)
3. Fish fillet cake
4. Cabbage (FOC unless you request for more)
5. 2 scoops of chili (FOC)

All these for only $2.10! Really value for money!

However, the Golden Shoe hawker centre is usually very busy and warm during lunch time. Hence, I recommend that you choose to take away rather than dine in.

Indonesian Food...Yumz! Smile Sep 30, 2011

Categories : Indonesian

This is one of the best and most value for money Indonesian restaurant. If you love spicy food, do visit this restaurant as they serves 2 types of chili which are exclusive served at this place. Both of equally spicy! However, I prefer the one with the black sauce as I think that it tastes slightly sweet.

My recommended dishes are the Ayam Penyet ($6.50) and the crackers ($1.50). The chicken is tasty and juicy and the crackers are crispy and fresh!

My love for Mentaiko Spaghetti Smile Sep 29, 2011

Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Restaurant

The Mentaiko Spaghetti with Salmon Tataki never fails to delight me. This is the reason why I will choose this main course when I visit TCC for lunch or dinner. I love the way the egg is cooked (or half cooked) as I can mix the yolk with the sauce of the pasta. Delicious!

However, I find that the service staff at TCC weren't very prompt (as they were very busy) and I noted that TCC has recently increased the price of their food by approximately $2 for each of their food item, which I think is quite a substantial amount given that their food was already kinda expensive as compared to most of the other chain cafes.

Gourmet Bakery Smile May 07, 2012

This is one of the cafes which I will strongly recommend one to visit as the food is tasty and the place is good to catch up with friends given that it is kinda quiet.

Tried the curried carrot soup which I find that it is quite unique and flavourful. Personally, I like the taste. However, I feel that some may not like it as the taste is kinda strong (my friend tried it and commented that it taste weird).

Ordered the wasabi chicken wrap which I love it. The chef is very generous with the filling!

The caffe latte and cheese cake are served shortly after I finished my main course. Both taste very good too.

This is the second time I visit this cafe and am glad that the cafe never fails to impress me.
