Yummy Chicken Rice OK Jul 20, 2012

Delicious but expensive local fare - this is how I would describe the food from Chatterbox. Though I love the chicken rice from Chatterbox, I have to admit that it is not worth paying $25 for it. This is especially so when you can easily find chickem rice which taste as good, if not better than the one from Chatterbox. Perhaps you can have it once in a blue moon when you wanna pamper yourself...

As for the service, I feel that it is not up to standard. I am kinda disappointed with the service as I need to ask the waitress many times to refill my water.

Kim Gary OK Jul 19, 2012

My impression of Kim Gary is a HK style cafe which serves food of average standard and reasonable price. Ordered the set meal from Kim Gary which consists of a drink, soup and main course (as shown in the picture) for $10.90 ++. Personally, I don't really like the soup as I find that it is kinda watery. Totally not worth the calories! However, I think the main course tastes quite good. Simply love the pork chop.

A well-decorated place which serves good food, a perfect place for tea to catch up with friends - this is how I would describe this place. Ordered the delicious pancake with sausage which I think is quite a unique combination. Though it doesn't seem to be a huge serving, I am really full after eating it (I think it is because of the fact that the pancakes are quite thick).

However, the service at this place is very lousy. The waitress simply ignores me when I request for top up of water. I have to get up and walk to take the jug of water. sad

Yummy Rendang Smile Jul 11, 2012

Categories : Singaporean | Stall / Kiosk

Heard from my friend that the mutton rendang is delicious and hence decided to give it a try. Ordered the following dishes to go with my rice for lunch:
1) Mutton Rendang
2) Sambal French Beans
3) Stir Fried Eggs

Generally, I think that the mutton rendang and sambal french beans taste quite good. In fact, I agree with my friend that the mutton rendang is worth trying, especially so when it is reasonably priced.

However, the stir fried eggs is a disappointment. It is cold and tasteless. Definitely not a good choice.

Green Tea Cream with Red Bean Smile Jul 11, 2012

Categories : American | Coffee

Being a fan of the Green Tea Cream of starbucks, I will definitely want to try this seasonal Green Tea Cream with Red Bean. Given that there is red bean toppings, one will not be able to add whipped cream to it (unlike the usual Frappucino). Though this drink tastes good (in fact, it tastes similar to Green Tea Cream), I feel that there is nothing special. In fact, I think I still prefer the Green Tea Cream without Red Bean toppings. tongue
