After lunch, thinking to grab a dessert again. My all time favourite Haato ice cream. I ordered cup-double scoope (Green Tea with Red Bean & Kiwi Yougurt). What I liked about this flavour was that it wasn't too sweet and it was possible to taste chunks of the red bean. The kiwi yogurt seems to taste smoother and lighter. Heavenly~ The combined result was a really well-balanced palate which doesn't leave a heavy feeling. However I found it quite expensive.

After watched movie with friend, thinking to buy some cake or bread to office as breakfast. I saw that they were doing promotion 5 for S$5 (not really remember) so I bought different flavor. First time trying, the swiss roll is very fresh and soft, nice and dense and just sweet and creamy enough, It keeps you wanting for more. Recommend for those who like swiss roll....their swiss roll is the best..love it!!!

Went dinner with friend after class. Nan Hua Chang has got to be one of the best fish steamboat in Singapore. The key to the this great steamboat is their soup. It is very sweet and clear. Plus when u put in the fried sole fish, yam etc - it really is a great comfort food. Fish was fresh and soft. Remember to ask them to refill the soup as food will get burnt when there are too little soup. There are usual side dishes u can order to go with the steamboat like beancurds, kangkong etc. I suggest u just focus on the steamboat as it is has enough different stuff to keep u happy.

Pandan Kaya Cake

Pandan Kaya Cake

Bought this cake as to celebrate my colleague's birthday. When I opened the cake, the smell came out straightly from the box. Wow..it was the smell of pandan and it was so tempting. First time trying this cake was great. It not sweet at all. I can still tasted the pandan flavor and it goes well with the pandan. My colleague who not really eat cake like to eat this flavor. Recommended to others who do not like to eat sweet and creamy cake.

Nice Swiss Roll Smile Oct 02, 2011

I chance upon to have a taste on their swiss roll as my boss brought it for us to try. She bought 4 flavours which are Durian, Strawberry and Kaya. The swiss roll are real good. Good because of three things. The sponge cake is super soft and it actually will melt in your mouth. It has been a long time since i have tasted such texture of a cake. The spread (durian, strawberry or kaya) is just nice - not too thin nor too thick. There are a few times whenever I eat swiss rolls, the ends of the sponge cake tend to have less spread. This definitely does not occurs here.
I will definitely go there for more if I am around that area.
