During a break in between lecture, I came to Megabites to get a snack.
I ended up getting the crispy fried chicken which comes in 3 pieces on a stick,

However, the chicken was far from crispy!
Although the chicken tasted quite good, it was too oily and by the 2nd piece, I was feeling rather jelat that I just couldn't bring myself to eat the last piece.

Definitely not something to be eaten in excess.
A piece or two is fine but anything more than that and be prepared to feel nauseous!

Instead of getting the usual Nasi Lemak, I decided to try out Nasi Padang on this day.
I ordered potato cutlet, lemak and sambal stingray which they usually don't sell.

The potato cutlet was warm and crispy and really good!
The lemak had a bit of vegetables in it as well but I felt it tasted a bit bland.
As for the sambal stingray, I feel that it definitely wasn't the best I've tried but for the price, I would say it was alright.

I'll try the food at this stall again for sure but will choose different dishes instead

Hungry Jack caught my attention while I was walking around the foodcourt contemplating what to have for lunch.
As it had been a very long time since I last had pasta, I decided to try the Grilled Fish Marinara as a healthier choice.

I was definitely surprised by the generous portion of pasta served.
It was indeed a struggle to finish 3/4 of the pasta and that was all I managed before I felt too full.
The fish served was also huge.
However, I felt that the fish was a tad bit bland.

Overall, it was an average meal.
Huge portion but average in taste.

The first few mouthfuls of the Chocolate rum and cherry cake was quite good. Really rich in chocolate and you could taste the rum and cherry strongly.
However after a while, it just got too much and too overpowering and we all felt nauseous and couldn't eat anymore!!
Despite being a chocoholic, I found this cake to be a little too rich than normal and perhaps the taste of the rum and cherry was also really strong, hence making it more richer and dense.

This is good for the first few mouthfuls so if you do give it a try, remember not to have too much or it might leave you feeling nauseous!

Last year for a brief period of time, my friend worked at the Starbucks at Gateway.
During her first week there, a group of friends and I went to visit her.
As she was still new there, she was still learning how to make the drinks and hence, someone else made the drinks we ordered.

I ordered a Hot Chocolate as it was a rainy day.
However I felt that the Hot Chocolate was a little too thick and sweet and even my friends agreed.
I felt extremely thirsty after finishing only half of it.

Was definitely quite a disappointment as I've had really good Hot Chocolate at other outlets before.
