Aglio Olio Chicken Sausage  Smile Jan 31, 2012

Categories : Ice Cream and Gelato

While at Marine Parade recently, I was surprised to find a Zesty Tomato shop there.
Afterall, they have one in my school as well.
I decided to give it a try, hoping that it'll surpass my school's standard and guess what! IT DID! lol

I ordered their Aglio Olio Chicken Sausage.
The pasta had a nice texture to it and there was a hint of pepper in it which made it all the more delicious.
The serving of sausage inside could have been more generous though.

Overall, the standard of this Zesty Tomato is definitely higher than the one in NP.

Half Spring Chicken Smile Jan 31, 2012

Categories : Hawker Centre

I've been coming to this stall for a few years now as their Western food is rather good!
On this occasion, I ordered something different from the usual thing I'll get.

The portion of their half spring chicken was bigger than I expected.
Best yet was the taste of it!
It was absolutely tender, chewy and juicy and just recalling it now is making me crave it yet again!
The bun that was served with it was warm, crispy and buttery on the outisde and soft on the inside.

An absolute delight to eat.
Will be heading back soon to eat it again after writing this review cause I'm craving it again!!

Cookies & Cream Illusion Cry Jan 31, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Café

While on a study date with my friend at JE library, we headed to Cafe Galilee for a break and for a drink to quench our thirst.
I chose the Cookies&Cream Illusion milkshake as I had been craving oreos for a few days!

It was really really thick and too sweet for my liking.
After a few sips, the drink got too overwhelming due to the sweetness.
Also another thing I noticed is that there was a lot of blended ice and not much to drink.
Definitely a disappointment (N)

Soya Bean Smile Jan 31, 2012

Before heading to Chinese Garden for the evening, I bought a refreshing cup of cold Soya Bean milk from the Mr Bean outlet there.
There was a rather long queue as many people were queuing up to get something after work.

I chose 100% sweetness for the Soya Bean milk.
I was pleasantly surprised as it wasn't too overpowering or too sweet. In fact, it had just the right amount of sweetness!
Definitely one of the better Soya Bean milk I've tried (Y)

Double Chocolate Cry Jan 31, 2012
Categories : Desserts and Cakes

As I was passing by Mr Bean yesterday, I realised that they had a new flavour for their pancake; DOUBLE CHOCOLATE!
Being a chocolate lover, I definitely couldn't just walk on by without trying it!

Howwwwwwwever, I was disappointed!
The pancake was cold and hard and the flour was too thick.
The double chocolate filling in it was also too thick and rather bitter.
It definitely would have been much better if it was warm as the chocolate would have been more melted and the pancake would have been softer.

Huge disappointment sad
