Chicken Curry Bun Smile Nov 06, 2011
Categories : Singaporean | Bakery

On my way home from Tiong Bahru Plaza, I dropped by Breadtalk to get some snacks for home.
I bought the chicken curry bun as I was craving something extremely flavourful and spicy as well.

The chicken curry bun didn't disappoint!
There was a generous filling inside and the curry taste tasted authentic.
The bun was also soft and fluffy.

Definitely delicious! MMMMMM smile

Nasi Padang! Smile Nov 06, 2011
Categories : Coffeeshop

I've been going to this Nasi Padang shop for years and the wide variety of food never fails to amaze me!
I always have a difficult time deciding on which ingredients to buy tongue

I bought lunch from here a few days back.
Decided upon my favourite Fried Chicken, Sweet & Sour Fish and Omelette.
I requested for Chicken Gravy and Lemak Gravy to be packed separately.

Firstly, the portion of food served here is HUGE.
It's sufficient to be shared between 2 people.
Secondly, the chicken is humongous! On top of that, it is packed with meat.
The chicken is fried well and yet, is very juicy and tender on the inside. YUM!
The sweet and sour fish is really good as well. Very flavourful and the fish is soft yet tender and chewy.
The omelette however was something I didn't like.
Although it was very thick and fluffy, there was something about the taste that didn't quite appeal to me.

As for the gravy's, the lemak was extremely bland!!! sad
The Chicken Gravy however was fantastic!
It was of a nice thickness and consistency and was extremely flavourful.

Overall, it was a wonderfully satisfying meal which left me rather bloated!
Always a good thing to share this meal with someone else smile

Mixed Rice! Smile Nov 06, 2011

Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Food Court | Chinese Soup | Noodles

On Wednesday during lunch, my classmate and I went to Megabites for lunch.
I decided to give Cold Bites a try as I noticed it was a very popular stall with long queues everyday.

I ordered ketchup chicken, tofu and lemak curry which came with lots of vegetables as well as the brown tofu.
The food was super delicious!!!!!!!!
The chicken was very tender and chewy and when you bite into it, it just bursts with flavour.
The tofu was very flavourful too.
And the lemak curry is one of the best I've tried.
The gravy is of a nice thickness and comes with lots of vegetables. The brown tofu inside is just bursting with flavour as well.

Just looking at the picture now and thinking back to the meal is making me hungry!
Absolutely yummy and will definitely be heading back to try out their other dishes!

At only $2.80, this makes a very satisfying and filling meal lol

Chocolate Puff Smile Nov 06, 2011

Categories : Bakery

MMMMMMMMM the chocolate puff from Four Leaves is absolutely delicious!
The outside layer is crispy and when you bite into it, the chocolate just oozes out to greet you!
There's a generous filling of chocolate inside and it's best eaten when warm as the chocolate will still be melted!

Very sinful! lol

Coffee Bun! Smile Nov 06, 2011
Categories : Bakery

I bought the coffee bun recently while at Four Leaves.
They had just freshly baked it so it was still very warm!

The bun is soft and fluffy and when you bite into it, the coffee taste hits you instantly.
It is not too overwhelming though which is great.
Also, the inside of the bun is very buttery which makes it all the more delicious!

YUMMY smile
