Sausages! Smile Dec 17, 2011

Categories : Restaurant

I ordered the German Nuremberger Sausages, priced at $12.80.
The description of it from the menu is "3 spiced German pork sausages, “Nuremberger style” served with fries and greens."
The outer layer of the sausage was slightly crisp yet soft inside and there was a mild spiced taste.
It was definitely something unique and different (in a good sense) from the type of sausages one would get at most places.
The fries were fried well as well and were thick and crisp.

Was an extremely satisfying meal which left me rather full! smile

Nasi Padang ;) Smile Nov 10, 2011

Today I tapau-ed lunch from the Nasi Padang stall.
The ingredients I chose are as follows: fried chicken cutlets, cheese sausage, small tofu with some peanut-ish thing in it and lemak gravy.

The chicken cutlet was fried well and was crispy yet tender, though a little harder than usual.
The cheese sausage was delicious and the cheese just oozes out when you take a bite. YUM!
The tofu tasted rather normal though.
The lady was very generous with the lemak and included some vegetables from the gravy for me too.

At $3.70, it definitely was a filling meal and of above average standard smile

Chicken Temptation Smile Nov 08, 2011

Categories : Italian | Pasta | Halal

A week back, I went to the Domino's outlet at Bukit Merah to takeaway.
I ordered a Regular Chicken Temptation pizza which was a combination of 100% Mozarella Cheese with Succulent Smoked Chicken Breast, Turkey Ham and Green & Red Pepper.
As for the crust, I chose the Classic Hand Tossed which is described as being "made from fresh dough using a unique oil-free screen-baking process".
Lastly, I requested for extra cheese on the pizza for an additional $2.

Once the pizza was ready, I got home as quickly as possible.
10 minutes later and the pizza was still piping hot!
When I opened the box, I didn't know what I was more excited by; the smell or the sight!!!!!
The smell of cheese overpowered the room and I couldn't wait a second longer!!

I felt like I was in heaven with that very first bite I took.
The dough was soft and chewy yet thick and fluffy.
They definitely weren't the least bit stingy with the cheese as it melted into my mouth.
There was definitely a very generous amount of ingredients, not just with the cheese but with the chicken and ham as well!

I loved every bite of the pizza and am definitely gonna be ordering from Domino's more often!!!!!!
Just the thought of it is making me hungry;(

Honestly one of the best pizzas around!
Very satisfying, delicious and just MMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
Be prepared to have a slice or two more than usual ;) I know I did!

TIP: Try to get those discount coupons from Domino's which have offers such as $10 off, 30% off, etc. Makes the meal much cheaper and more worth it! smile

Breadstix! Smile Nov 08, 2011

Categories : Italian | Pasta | Halal

While at Domino's recently, my friends and I decided to give the Breadstix a try apart from the usual pizza.
I was blown away by the taste of the breadstix.

Firstly, it was so so warm, soft, yet fluffy!!!!!
When bitten into, a light garlic-y cheese taste greets you warmly.
I loved the texture of this bread!
It sinks into your mouth and melts away slowly. MMMMMMMMMMMM
I couldn't get enough of it's softness and fluffiness that my friends and I ordered another one!

It came with a sauce as well but we preferred it to be eaten on it's own.
Absolutely delicious and a MUST TRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nasi Padang! Smile Nov 06, 2011

Categories : Coffeeshop

I've been going to this Nasi Padang shop for years and the wide variety of food never fails to amaze me!
I always have a difficult time deciding on which ingredients to buy tongue

I bought lunch from here a few days back.
Decided upon my favourite Fried Chicken, Sweet & Sour Fish and Omelette.
I requested for Chicken Gravy and Lemak Gravy to be packed separately.

Firstly, the portion of food served here is HUGE.
It's sufficient to be shared between 2 people.
Secondly, the chicken is humongous! On top of that, it is packed with meat.
The chicken is fried well and yet, is very juicy and tender on the inside. YUM!
The sweet and sour fish is really good as well. Very flavourful and the fish is soft yet tender and chewy.
The omelette however was something I didn't like.
Although it was very thick and fluffy, there was something about the taste that didn't quite appeal to me.

As for the gravy's, the lemak was extremely bland!!! sad
The Chicken Gravy however was fantastic!
It was of a nice thickness and consistency and was extremely flavourful.

Overall, it was a wonderfully satisfying meal which left me rather bloated!
Always a good thing to share this meal with someone else smile
