One thing special about this place is that they offer a free tapas for every drink ordered. The free tapas are tasty little nibblets that don't get you full, so consider ordering full sized tapas.

I wasn't full enough, so I ordered a platter of 6 mini burgers. The meatballs were juicy and the burgers were so much fun to eat!

It's relaxing to soak in the atmosphere, chill and chat while having something to munch on.

Price wise, it's quite expensive, but considered average for food in a bar.

Amazing coleslaw~ Smile Dec 21, 2011

I had this meal more than half a year ago, but I can still remember how the coleslaw tasted. That's how good it is. The vegetables used were fresh and it was ice cold when served. One taste and I could tell that it was definitely not factory made and served from that typical blue coleslaw container.

The chicken chop was also tender and succulent with a layer of crispy skin on top. If only I lived nearby.

I've always known there was a popular ramen joint in Cuppage Plaza, but somehow never got around to finding out which one it was. All that changed last night. Yes, they open until 2am, late enough to feed your ramen craving after a night in town.

It always feels like the lottery to me when I break open ramen eggs with my fork to see if liquid egg yolk oozes out of the boiled egg white. I won the lottery with this one. Certain ramen joints have fully hard boiled eggs in ramen for some unknown reason.

The soup base was not flavourful enough for me and I ended up having to add a lot of spices. It wasn't too salty though, so that's a plus point. There were also about 4 thick slices of cha shu in the bowl which makes it more value for money.

Having heard only good things about this place, I decided to check it out with my boyfriend one Saturday, and was glad I did!
Fried mandu

Fried mandu

Ordered some fried mandu as a side dish - somehow I still can't tell the difference between gyoza, fried mandu and guo tie. In any case, this one was just the way I liked it with crispy edges and a soft juicy filling.
Hotplate spicy chicken

The hotplate chicken was nicely seasoned and the entire plate was generously filled, unlike in some foodcourts.
Japchae

My boyfriend ordered japchae. Being someone who doesn't really bother about food, he gave this one the thumbs up. Says something, eh? smile

Teppanyaki Chicken Mcgrill

Teppanyaki Chicken Mcgrill

Looking at the menu, I would think this is probably the healthiest burger option McDonalds offers. It's a premium burger that comes at a premium price ($5.50 for the burger alone), but they try to make it look like it's worth it. On a sourdough bun lies a bed of lettuce with a nicely grilled chicken fillet topped with tomato slices and drizzled with a special sauce.

For a fast food restaurant, I can pretty much say they've done well with this burger. It can let you deceive yourself into thinking it's healthy food, and it makes for a hearty and satisfying meal, especially with the golden fries that everyone loves. tongue
