The newly renovated Mr Bean has a very cozy interior design. The Bean mascot is cute too. I ordered my favourite soya bean ice-cream, this time in the cup (20 cents more expensive than the cone). As per usual, the ice-cream is very smooth and creamy. Not overly sweet and suit my pellet so well. The portion is considered big for just $1.50 (you will get 10% discount if you are NUHS staffs).

I was in a hurray that morning and need to get some bite for breakfast. When I passed by thisGrand Park hotel, I decided to grab an almond bar. The almond bar smells really good. It is crunchy, sweet, and has this humble almond taste, not over-powering and easily acceptable by perople who is not fancy of almond flavour for sure. It costs $3 and is subjected to 7% GST.

Megumi Japanese Restaurant has the special promotion during weekdays. When you order any main course, you could complete the meal with $4.80++ for any 2 items (of the special menu) plus free flow of hot Ocha. We ordered two main courses, and completed with 4 side dishes. Quite filling, and most importantly, delicious!

I had the Braised pork cutlet with egg. The bento came in such a big portion. The cutlet is tender, and i like the egg gravy. The set also consists of fresh salmon sashimi, very worth the price. Another main dish that we ordered is the Fried soba noodles ($9.80). The texture of soba noodles still maintained very well. The flavour is very good, I reckon it's a must try. It has plenty of ingredients too, vegetables and chicken meat. Yummy. As for the side dishes, we had the Steamed egg custard. Very smooth and silky, pleasantly tasty. Prawn tempura is very well done. Not too oily yet very crispy. The soft-shell crab hand roll is pretty alright. The crab is slightly crispy and together with some mayonnaise, it tastes quite nice. And lastly, we have the chocolate ice-cream. It says 'free-flow' on the menu if you choose it as the side dish, but we were so full that we didn't ask for the second scoop though it's very nice.

Originated from Australia, Cold Rock Ice Creamery provides variety flavours of ice-creams, as well as over 40 different mix-ins, which you can create and personalize your very own unique ice-cream! We didn't create our own but just ordered from the menu. I had the "Break The Law", where the Bubble gum flavoured ice cream is mixed with gummi bears and marshmallows, and topped with lots of mini M&Ms. Very colourful and playful.

To kick start my Monday morning, I decided to take away the Spinelli breakfast roll, which is always stuffed with generous filling, very satisfying. I had the tuna and egg breakfast roll. The multi-grain bun gives an extra texture to the munch, and it's healthy too. The tuna, egg, red onion and some herbs are very well-seasoned, delicious. Oh yea, Spinelli is now on Perx, so remember to get chopped when you purchase a standard drink ya!
