TCC is now having the 1-for-1 main course/pasta promotion in conjunction of the GSS, up till 21 July. What a bargain! We ordered the O'bello cheesy eggplant and absolutely love it. The eggplant is cooked but not too soft. It is layered with cheese, and topped with the mushroom. Very tasty, especially the mushroom which has a hint of truffle oil, yummy!

Baby crayfish spaghetti is all time favourite! The dish comes with generous amount of crayfish, fresh and strong seafoody flavour!

When you ordered set meal for two at Watami Japanese restaurant, you get so much food that can actually feed for three person I reckon. The set meal included 2 drinks, a Half Watami Salad, and Salmon Sashimi. Both of which are fresh and light, good start of the 'heavy' meal.We then get to choose one main dish and one hotpot. Ishiyaki Sutamina Don is the Tokyo specialty pork rice with egg yolk, served in stone pot. The sizzling rice is aromatic tasty. The egg yolk gives a moist texture to the well-flavoured pork rice, delicious. Konbu Dashi Sumo Nabe (Sumo wrestler's hotpot) has so much ingredients in it, namely pork slices, vegetables, clams, tofu etc, the natural sweetness of the soup is nice to go with Udon noodles. For the side dish, we chose the Wafu Pizza. This is a must try I reckon. The pizza base is thin and crispy! The topping is well-marinated, good flavour and very appetizing! When you order the set meal, you get to order up to two desserts with half price. We had the Matcha Tiramisu ($2.4) and Sumiyaki Coffee Jelly ($2.4). The tiramisu is yummy, the green tea mousse layer is rich and smoothly creamy. The Coffee Jelly on the other hand is not my favourite. Slightly bitter.

Megumi Japanese Restaurant has the special promotion during weekdays. When you order any main course, you could complete the meal with $4.80++ for any 2 items (of the special menu) plus free flow of hot Ocha. We ordered two main courses, and completed with 4 side dishes. Quite filling, and most importantly, delicious!

I had the Braised pork cutlet with egg. The bento came in such a big portion. The cutlet is tender, and i like the egg gravy. The set also consists of fresh salmon sashimi, very worth the price. Another main dish that we ordered is the Fried soba noodles ($9.80). The texture of soba noodles still maintained very well. The flavour is very good, I reckon it's a must try. It has plenty of ingredients too, vegetables and chicken meat. Yummy. As for the side dishes, we had the Steamed egg custard. Very smooth and silky, pleasantly tasty. Prawn tempura is very well done. Not too oily yet very crispy. The soft-shell crab hand roll is pretty alright. The crab is slightly crispy and together with some mayonnaise, it tastes quite nice. And lastly, we have the chocolate ice-cream. It says 'free-flow' on the menu if you choose it as the side dish, but we were so full that we didn't ask for the second scoop though it's very nice.

I went back to this restaurant for the second time, and this time round I ordered their famous signature dish - ayam goreng. The deep-fried chicken has a very crispy texture outside, good flavour where you can taste how well-marinated the chicken is. The meat is tender and juicy, I guess it's mainly due to the fact that it's the chicken thigh part. I like how the deep-fried chicken is finished up with thick soy sauce, and those caramelized onion is just superb.

I always go to Ji De Chi for their durian desserts, and didn't really try out other options. Howvere, now only I realized their soya beancurd dessert is actually quite nice. This silky beancurd has such a strong flavour of soya beans and the texture is pleasantly smooth. Very tasty and not too sweet. It tastes so delicious and refreshing when it is served cold. Yummy!
