Awesome laksa that suits me best! The gravy is thick, lamek. Taste wise, the chilli paste is rather salty. The gravy by itself is a little salty already so if you're watching out for salt, cut down on the chilli paste. The cockles were quite fresh and chewy. Portion is huge! Worth every cent spent

So I gave this place another try for the food, it seems like nothing can go wrong when you order fried stuff. The fried chicken was decent. Crispy, tender chicken meat, not too oily and not dry. There's really nothing to complain. The potato salad is still as awesome and the fries were crispy. Yummy! Service is still as unattentive as usual, they really need to train the youngsters well....

Ordered a cup of earl grey milk tea with pearls for a hot hot day. Usually I don't order pearls but somehow today I feel like chewing something while having my bubble tea. The earl grey tasted okay, with sufficient sweetness and tea smell. The pearls were nice! Chewy, not too soft. The skin of the pearls were all intact and rounded.

This is one interesting dessert. The chocolate profiteral is actually a croissant like puff topped with almond bits, topped with chocolate syrup and a vanilla ice cream in the middle of it all. The bread is soft on the inside, but takes some effort to slice through it. Patience is needed to finish this dish neatly lol

Hai Yan Drink Stall Smile Mar 29, 2012

The milo here is not the overly sweet kind unlike some stalls which give you an entire spoon of condensed milk. The milo is also thick enough and the drink is served very hot. Even after my meal, the milo was still that hot that it could have burnt my tongue if I wasn’t careful. At 90 cents, it isn't cheap but at least it's a pleasure to drink. Their sugar cane drink is nice too! Give it a try
