Check out the piece of quarter chicken in my picture. It is very skinny and small. 2 sides with a quarter chicken cost $15.50. I think chicken was tasty, I did like the sauce - garlic and chilli. But really felt that it is too expensive.

For the sides you can choose from 4 choices and I only took the sauteed veg. The vegetables were well cooked - broccoli, carrots, cauliflower sauteed in garlic. Healthy and not too oily.

This was my belated bday cake. Waguri Millefeuille

I don't know what to say because it just looks like a piece of art sitting there in its little box, not saying anything but waiting to be consumed by eyes.

Its so pretty~ and the taste is exquisite. The subtlety of the French chestnut cream carefully piped over a sandwich of crisp, flaky puff pastry and pastry cream, topped with sweetened Japanese chestnuts.

Ummmmmmmmmm.... u gotta try it. =)

Office ladies in the CBD area is always looking for cheap and good salad and I found a new branch in International Plaza that sells salads at $4.90 with 5 toppings on a base of lettuce. What's great is that you do not get any queues at all because it is still relatively new!

Nothing to shout about but there was one topping that caught my eye--kimchi cucumber! Very tasty and innovative topping. The rest are your mainstays in salads like tofu, eggs, beans, carrots.. but the Japanese sesame dressing is a must try! I also like their very precious garlic toast on top of the salad-- crusty and crispy.

Portions are on the smaller side but its a convenient shop with no queue and the cheaper of the lot you can find around the area.

Good Asian meal OK Sep 05, 2013

France and Spain was wonderful for our holidays but I was craving asian food soooo much. More like cooked food coz I realised caucasians seem to eat alot of cold food–salads, saucisson, cold bbq meat. I really miss hot stir fries and soups!

It wasn’t the best choice at Ajisen for ramen but i rather liked the chinese styled bentos. I think I ordered the same stuff before as well. Lol. But it did helped to satisfy our asian food craving.

It was my first time at Star Vista and they had this really cool outdoor section with a row of chillout places. We settled on Señor Taco because it was 1-for-1 cocktail (Mojitos!). It was a good choice because the food menu really looked delicious but there were only 2 of us so we settled for this:

cochinita yucateca – shredded pork in special adobo and achiote marinade. served with corn tortillas ($28.90)

You are supposed to wrapped all that stuff in a corn tortillas. The tortillas were surprisingly tasty without being industrial at all. And even if I don't usually like pork the pork was very very soft and tasty. It reminds me abit of the chinese stewed pork. POrtions were very good too, though we could do with more salsa. I love this place and after searhcing online realised they have a copy of branches. Will definitely go back to try more of their other food.
