Taro pie Smile Mar 04, 2013

After hearing so much about the recently launched taro pie at McDonalds, I decided to try it out. When I took my first bite, I fell in love with it! I am not a fan of taro pies or anything taro but this taro pie is really so yummy! The sweetness is just right and when you take your first bite, taro will ooze out. It is served piping hot so be careful not to scald your tongue. It is also very affordable at just $1!

Yummy chocolate cake! Smile Mar 04, 2013

Chocolate Flourless Cake $6+
The slice is quite a small serving but it is so yummy and definitely worth it!! The crust (outer layer) of the cake is really crisp. The insides are soft, moist and so chocolatey. Every bite leaves me wanting for more. It is also sprinkled with icing sugar on the top, and giving bonus points on the appearance of the cake. Chocolate lovers will definitely love this!

Best XLBs!!! Smile Mar 03, 2013

I cannot describe my love for xiao long baos! Ever since I tried Ding Tai Fung's xiao long baos, I find myself wanting for more and more and more! It is easy to pick up the xiao long baos without breaking the skin. The skin is not thick though! The soup broth is very fragrant and goes so well with the meat and skin. It also goes well with the chilli! The chilli crab xiao long bao was okay though. I will prefer the original xlbs anytime!

Chirashi Smile Dec 07, 2014

Chirashi set $30- because the queue at the sushi bar was too long, I decided to try this out. The sashimi slices were thick, fresh and succulent - comparable with the sushi bar's version. This set came with green tea and a seaweed(?) side dish which had a homely taste to it. It was a very filling and satisfying meal. I also like that all the seats are counter seats so diners can see up close on how their sashimi is being prepared. Only downside is that the place is really small and squeeze,

We ordered 4 scoops of ice-cream and they cost $20+. The scoops are not big though. The ice-creams are served in chilled bowls to preserve the coldness! They tasted soooo good. You can tell that their ice-cream are of high quality. It is a great place to chill and hang-out, or have dessert here after your meal elsewhere. All the flavours are yummy. My favourite has got to be the chocolate flavour!
