Went in a group of 5 and waiting time was supposedly over an hour but luckily we managed to get seats in about 15 minutes and our waffles surprisingly came within 15 minutes too. We had the earl grey lavender flavour and dark chocolate flavour ($8.80 for one waffle slice and one serving of soft serve ice-cream). Friends commented that the dark chocolate ice-cream wasn't "dark" enough as it was milky and sweet. I felt that it was fine but its bitterness was very subtle. The earl grey lavender was sweet, maybe a little too sweet for me but I appreciated the distinct taste of lavender. The waffles were still good as usual, crisp, soft, and fluffy, and went well with the sweet maple syrup.. Fruits were on the sour side. Cakes looked delicious but not many people ordered them.. We tried their matcha cake which is going for $7.90 (quite expensive) but it is yummy! The matcha sponge was very soft and airy, with a light matcha flavour (not the rich kind). I supposed that's cream cheese.. it complemented the matcha well too. Worth the try if you love matcha!

Will be back to try their other cakes! 

Hokkaido Scollop Croquette $1.80: The breadcrumbs are very fine and crumbly. Batter is thin too. Texture is very soft and mushy (in a good way). I wouldn't know it's scallop if it isn't labelled there. It isn't quite something that I expect but it tastes good nevertheless!Salmon OnigiriThe seaweed and rice are separated by a plastic so that the seaweed maintains its crisp. Such a simple item but it sure is yummy, with bits of cooked salmon that's sweet. Yums but it isn't quite worth the price. ($2.80 or $3.80?)Fried vegetable $3.90: A little oily but oh so yummy and addictive! It is also lightly salted which enhances its overall taste.Potato butter croquette: Think mashed potato mixed with butter..the result? Absolutely delicious!! Texture of the fillings is also smooth and every bite entices me to have more.

I'll definitely be back to try out their other croquettes!

This (peanut butter & banana) smoothie ($9) has almond, peanut butter, milk, and banana in it. There were some larger chunks of banana in it which were not blended in well but overall it still tasted good. it was slightly sour and wasn't overly sweet. The almond taste was very faint though but the peanut butter flavour wasn't overwhelming.Saffron Seafood stew $25: Stew was very good and wasn't too salty.etc. The seafood was fresh but some clams had the grainy texture when bit into it. Prawns were a little soft, perhaps undercooked, but fresh. The bread was slightly crisp and went well with the stew too. The snapper fish was tender and soft. Overall, it's worth a try.Beef goulash (either $21 or $23): Thick chunks of beef, very well flavoured and tender. The spaetzle was yummy but as every bit was filled with the flavour of the goulash, the richness of the taste made it a tad cloying so it's better to share.

Prices are on the high side but they do serve some comfort food.

So I was still hungry after dinner so I bought a chicken wing from this nasi lemak stall to try ($1.40). The chicken wing was already fried and left there so temperature was between cold to warm. The seasoning was rather flavourful and it was tasty even though the chicken wing was not crispy. Chicken was tender as well and it tasted good when eaten with the skin. It was however too salty for my liking. If it was less salty, the taste would be near perfect. I also saw quite a number of people having their nasi lemak. Perhaps I'll be back to try it out soon.

Roast duck rice $4.20: Duck meat was tender and the duck skin was flavourful as well. The chilli was rather spicy and slightly tangy. The duck gravy was flavourful and complemented the otherwise dry rice well. Soup on the other hand seemed to be ladened with msg and was quite oily too.Teh ping: $1.10: It was very diluted and lacked flavour. The price is however cheap as it is located in town. Won't be getting it again though.

Service was fast.
