BabyCray Fish Salad

BabyCray Fish Salad

Ladies and gentlemen, I now present to you the One and Only Salad In One Place... The BabyCray Fish Salad! Just in case you are wondering what is so good about this salad and why does it deserve a spot in your stomach, I am going to tell you about this majestic plate of wonder. First, this dish does not contain ordinary ingredient, first it has BABYCRAY FISH, a cousin of lobster, mild sweet and juicy. Secondly, the white yellowish cream is a sort of refined smooth texture salad dressing which enhances the taste of the babycray fish. There's also another light brown translucent dressing underneath the thick veggie which cuts the sweet taste of the salad dressing which gives a slight sour taste to it. The two dressing complements each other with the thick crunchy veggie and the babycray fish makes your stomach go wild around the world. If you are reading this and have not tried this dish, I strongly encourage you to just try this dish. Not a moment later, your stomach will thank you for giving its best meal of all times.

Best eggs benedict in town Smile Jan 25, 2014

Tucked away in a corner of the intersection between Bukit Timah Road and Princess of Wales Road sits a quaint café, Choupinette (that's 'sweetiepie' in French).

While it's a bit expensive, a large majority of the dishes they serve are fantastic. The all day breakfast or eggs Benedict or eggs florentine are divine. Get the set... It's more worth it as it comes along with fruit juice and coffee! To be honest, I personally feel this is the best eggs benedict in singapore! The hollandaise sauce complements perfectly with the large portion of well cooked bacon and perfect flowy poached eggs!

This is the place I'll recommend to you visit, MUST.

Ipoh Laksa

Ipoh Laksa

Okay listen up if you have been following me with me review, you will know that I do not like to eat spicy food. However, when I was young my parents often travelled back to Ipoh some sort like a business trip and I would tag along with them. I remembered trying my parent's bowl of laksa, ended up burning my own tongue. Aside from burning my own tongue, the aromatic smell from the laksa was indescribable. Until now, the smell continue to linger in my mind whenever I see laska, be it Singapore's style or Malaysia's style. One day, my friend and I decided to head to Malaysia Boleh. I ordered chicken rice and my friend ordered this. It was exactly the same as I saw it many years ago in Malaysia, the smell and the ingredients were almost the same, about 90%. The broth colour with the noodles, totally identical. I tried a spoonful of the broth and I felt like I was back in Ipoh, beside the road tasting the noodles. It was too good to be true, believe me. If you think I am writing for a composition then you have to try it to believe it. The point is, I actually found a bowl of laska that tasted exactly like the bowl I had it in many years ago. Damn, I am going to bring my parents here to try it.

Nutella crepe! Smile Dec 13, 2011

Who can ever resist the temptation of sweet treats? Not me definitely! Second time visiting cheekyz chocolates and the service was still as great as before! I was welcomed by the manager of this cafe and had a choice to choose wherever I wanted to sit. Didn't even have to look at menu and I ordered the same old dessert I had the other time which is the nutella crepe with ice-cream. Crepe was very good, it consists of several thin layers which will not make you bloated and it is being spread by a large potion of nutella! Not only that, it's also served with chocolate sauce, strawberries, whipped cream and nuts. That definitely makes the nutella crepe tasted better and fresher. Not to forget, you still can choose your preferred ice-cream flavour! With good service, ambience and dessert, won't you wanna head down for a bite? (:

Strawberry shortcake Smile Jan 26, 2014

Categories : Bakery

Trust me when I say that a cake tastes really fabulous because I have extremely high expectation for them!

I have never been much of a fan towards sponge or chiffon cake, not to even say strawberry shortcake until my sister recommended this to me. This sweet little thing totally brightened up my day upon the first mouth. The cream with a hinge of cream cheese melted in my mouth and the chiffon cake is so soft and fluffy! I can have a lot more of this right now.

Before I forgot about this, it's cheap! (As compared to a lot more other strawberry shortcakes out there)
