ordered the 2 piece chicken with added cheese fries for lunch. contrast to the cheese fries we had at kfc, the cheese fries at long john is more like chips with cheese but no matter what, both way tasted equally nice. the chicken was average, i felt the meat tasted kind of dry and the patter was too thick. in addition, the portion seem to have shrink too
i think ya kun is a good place to sit down a break during tea time or a snack. i ordered a cup of barley while waiting for my girlfriend to shop around. perhaps it was late at night, the barley tasted quite blend and not as nice compared to last time. but the barley was still smooth and a healthier drink. recently i also notice ya kun has a new addition which is the kaya biscuit and i quite like it since it is crunchy
this starbucks opened in school last dec and since then the whole school seem to have infested with starbucks. since this place is very near to lab so is quite a common hang out place for us. i ordered the java chips and quiche for snack, both were really nice and great for tea break the good thing is that for NUS student and staff there is a 10% discount off the food and drinks so is a good bargain
the lunch queue was really long in science canteen so gotten my lunch from the shortest queue which is the chicken rice store. my girlfriend recommend me the roast pork hor fun so i ordered to try. i added the braised beancurd to the noodle and i think it tasted not too bad. the roast pork was not crispy but i think for a school canteen, i think is still value for money
one of the newer addition to school and i was actually quite surprise to find an italian store in school canteen. i ordered a large fungi pizza and the portion looked not too bad. the crust was very different from the normal pizza that i tried before and the texture was something like naan. although the food is nice here, the waiting time was terrible especially during peak hour, you could easily wait at least 30min for the food
