watami is my girlfriend's favourite japanese restaurant and personally i quite like it too because there are a large variety of food to choose from and most of them taste great. they have set menu for two and four people are quite a steal, the dishes included have quite a large variety and is definitely filling. my favourite food are the pizza and sashimi platter, the thin crust pizza is just so nice and the wafu salad is great too

my girlfriend has been telling me how nice the food are at this restaurant many times but only gotten to try it recently. we went for dinner there with another friends, my girlfriend said there are more variety of set meals to choose from during lunch and at a cheaper price. in the end, we ordered three different set dinners. could not remember the set name but it came with the main course=beef cubes and several side dishes including chawamushi. i would say the portion is quite generous and very filling but the price was a little steep for dinner.

set meals Smile Mar 19, 2012

ordered my girlfriend's favourite agilo olio set to share with her and she was excited when she saw the cake of the day was tiramisu which was her favourite cake. i am not a salad person but somehow the raspberry sauce kind of make the vegetables tasted better. the agilo oilo was also not bad and the portion was quite generous. the bread was also nice and it was toasted till crispy so it felt as if i was eating a biscuit and it tasted nice when dipped into the creamy soup
i guess among all the dishes in the menu, the set meals are definitely the most value for money

nice to hang out Smile Dec 13, 2011

this is definitely a nice and cosy cafe to chill out on the weekend with some friends. although the cafe is situated among the shop houses, the ambience of this place is still great. food wise may be a little pricey but once in a while the cafe will have some set dinner promotion which is definitely worth the money.
my favourite is the chicken cutlet, deep fried to perfection and yet the meat is still juicy inside. the side dishes and desserts are not bad too

nice chocolate cake Smile Dec 09, 2011

the petite buns are quite cute and nice especially the chocolate crossiant. I also like the concept of mix and match such that i have more choices and can try several different flavours each time. the cakes also look very nice and the chocolate glanche is very nice. very rich chocolate and the biscuit like crust give the cake a crunchy touch and have different layer of texture. an their cakes are mostly in square shape so is easy to cut when sharing with friends
