Macha red bean bread

Macha red bean bread

I would say they are rather generous with their red beans. There are 4 slices of bread in a pack and there are equally great amount of red beans. The japan macha taste of the bread is not very strong, it simply taste slightly like green tea but overall it goes rather well with the red beans. Thus, this is a choice that one could consider.

TAPIOCA

TAPIOCA

The tapioca of this stall is rather stiff, which suggest that they use old tapioca. It would certainly be better and in fact important for the tapioca to be soft and easy to bite. However, I would say they give quite generous amount of coconut milk to go with the tapioca, and importantly, the coconut milk is fresh.

pretty chiffons

Its amazing to see such great variety of chiffon flavours and I feel like trying every one of it. The chiffon is very soft and spongey, as well as fresh. Even if you put in fridge, they did not turn hard, instead, they still retained their softness. I bought 4 flavours, strawberry yoghurt, cranberry soy, mocha cheese and orange for $6.50. However, I am slightly disappointed by their taste as I felt that it is a bit too bland, especially the strawberry yoghurt. The other 3 flavours are considered alright. Nonetheless, these chiffons are healthier choices as it is written on the board that they contains no sugar and no preservatives. If I had a chance, I would still like to try the other flavours.

Cheap Raisin Bread OK Dec 07, 2011

Raisin bread

Raisin bread

I would say this is worth the buy as its price is considered reasonable and it can settle the whole family's breakfast. However, the taste is just average, like normal raisin bread. It would be better if they had more raisins as the raisin were quite unevenly placed, some with many while some with none. This bread taste better too when it is just ready made from the oven as it is especially fresh and soft. If one is picky and particular about their breakfast, then maybe they should not consider this bread. This is more for convenience.

Handmade Noodles OK Dec 07, 2011

Handmade noodles

Handmade noodles

The soup is slightly peppery and I got thirsty after drinking finish the soup so I suppose quite some amount of MSG is placed. However, I like their handmade noodles as they cooked it just right, not too soggy or not too hard. One could choose the flat kind known as "ban mian" or the thin kind known as "you mian". The meatball taste alright too and the taste is enhanced when you dipped it in their chili sauce
