Blueberry and cheese

Blueberry and cheese

I love Qbread as their bread are fresh and soft. It is especially good when it is just baked and out from the oven. I would recommend the blueberry cheese bread if one is going to try their bread. It is not too cheesy and it complements nicely with the blueberry. Moreover, there are almond flakes for us to chew on too. Also, the bread do not actually stick to their teeth. Generally, the price of the bread in the shop is rather cheap and reasonable, there are also quite a great variety for us to choose from.

Indonesian BBQ: Fish set OK Dec 05, 2011

stingray set

stingray set

I ordered the fish set from the indonesian bbq stall which cost me $3.50. The stingray was rather bland if you do not eat with the sauce. The sauce is that of the thailand chili sauce but it isn't that great either. The flesh of the fish is a bit stiff too. The cabbage was alright, soft and considered tasty, to my relief. Also, luckily there is some curry gravy that goes with the rice, otherwise I would have wasted more of the rice. Generally, I would say this fish set is only average and there are better of such indonesian bbq outside.

Honey Ribs

Honey Ribs

The pork ribs have 2 different flavours, one is that of honey pork ribs, the other is that of honey pork ribs. Personally, I love their honey pork ribs the most as it is marinated well with the honey sauce. Also, the meat is tender, easy to bite unlike some pork ribs where the meat stick to the bone. Mostly importantly, the meat on the ribs is not fatty, it is rather lean. You would find it difficult to stop eating once you start. It is simply irresistable. The price is rather reasonable too, $2.80 for 100 gram. It was about $9.80 when I bought 8 pieces.

Omelette rice

Omelette rice

The appearance of the Teppan Omelette Fried Rice already wins you over, the egg is well cooked with the golden-yellowish colour and it wrapped the rice nicely. Moreover, you can hear the sizzling sound on the plate which made the dish even more tempting. I like the sauce for the chicken, it is sweet and it goes well with the egg and rice too. When you mix everything together, it simply taste mavellous. However, I would think more chicken could be given as I end up having to eat only the rice with the egg. Nonetheless, the fried rice is still delicious and it come with a soup. At a promotion price of $4 instead of the usual $5, this set would be a good deal.

JUICY PIG TROTTERS

JUICY PIG TROTTERS

This is the nicest pig trotters I have ever tasted. Initially, I was afraid that the meat would be fat but my fear was unfounded. It was lean instead and you do not get sick of it. Rather, you would crave for more. It was tender and the soya sauce do not give you a bitter taste, it complements perfectly with the pig trotters. There are various price available and the minimum price is $5 which I found it rather reasonable for such a delicious dish. For those who love pig trotters, this is definitely a must try!
