The soup is my favourite as it is very sweet and you do not get thirsty after drinking it. You have a choice to have it spicy and personally I would prefer the spicy soup. The braised egg is also very delicious, as it is braised well and the egg yolk is not too dry. In addition, they give a lot of vegetables like cabbage and cai xin which I like. The fried chicken is very crispy, but I would find the skin to be a bit fat with a layer of oil.

Mixed rice

Mixed rice

The stall always have a large variety of dishes for me to choose from. This time, I chose its stir fried long bean, pork and its fried fish. I love their long bean as it nice to chew on and they stir fry for the right amount of time. Their fried fish is very crispy and I love the crust that had drop off the fish. The meat is also very tender and marinated well. Overall, it is also not very salty and I think the price is rather reasonable, $3.20 for lunch.

CHAR KWAY TEOW  Smile Dec 07, 2011

The char kway teow is very fragrant and cooked with the right amount of heat. It is served with fish cakes, bean sprouts, vegetables and some cockles. Most importantly, the cockles do not have the pungent fishy smell. It is also not very oily unlike some, hence it is healthier. The serving is appropriate too, just nice for the price of $3.

Cheap Raisin Bread OK Dec 07, 2011

Raisin bread

Raisin bread

I would say this is worth the buy as its price is considered reasonable and it can settle the whole family's breakfast. However, the taste is just average, like normal raisin bread. It would be better if they had more raisins as the raisin were quite unevenly placed, some with many while some with none. This bread taste better too when it is just ready made from the oven as it is especially fresh and soft. If one is picky and particular about their breakfast, then maybe they should not consider this bread. This is more for convenience.

Sliced Fish Noodle

Sliced Fish Noodle

I simply loved this stall sliced fish noodle soup. It is milky and sweet, in addition, you do not feel thirsty even after finishing up the entire soup. I will finish up the soup and leave nothing whenever I eat there. I think they handle the sliced fish well too, the sliced fish was thin enough and it was tender. Most importantly, it is fresh and have no fishy smell.
