I had always thought of Indian food as extremely spice, and having weak tastebuds for it, I tried to avoid it. But after dining at Song of India, my whole belief about indian food changed. As the restaurant's chef told me, indian food is merely flavourful.

and to prove this point, he made me taste one of their signature dishes: the malvani jatra. First of all, just want to comment on the presentation of the dish. It was very neat and clean and nice too look at. as for the taste, it had the right amount of spiciness to tickle you palate without it being too much.

I enjoyed the dish and can't wait to come back for more!
