Ritz Apple Strudel & Pastry Smile Sep 25, 2013

Categories : Bakery

Was at the opp shophouses to have our dinner and we saw Ritz Apple Studel & Pastry shop is still open, therefore we cross the road to come over. There are air-conditioner and non air-conditioner seats but we chose the air-conditioner ones. We ordered for the durian strudel (small size) which is less than $5. It tastes really yumms because the durian is of the real fruit and the pastry on the outside is thin and crispy! Worth trying.

Sea Salt Caramel  Smile Sep 25, 2013

It is my first time going to this outlet and it is air-conditioner because the weather is warm! They got ample seats and enough for the amount of crowd in the shop. Ordered for this sea salt caramel laced pastry which is about $3+. I find that the taste is a little bit sweet for my liking but the texture of the pastry is good. It is because the pastry is still warm and crispy. It is well match with a cup of coffee! I will try the other pastries that are available over there.

Chocolate Bun Smile Sep 25, 2013

The shop there is very authentic french bakery outlet style and they also have dine-in area whereby you can order for a cup of coffee and bun! Nice ambience.
Chocolate bun is their famous bun in Sophie Bakery and one of them costs $1.80. It is tasty and the chocolate chips inside the bun is amazing lots! I find that this bread is denser than the bun sold outside and it is more filling too. Maybe it is because of their speciality in flour and the way they are being made! Yummys!

Ji Ji Wanton Noodles Smile Sep 25, 2013

Honglim Food centre has alot of tasty food as introduced by my friends. One of the stall is Ji Ji Wanton Noodles. I bought a bowl of the signature dish at $3+ and thought it smells like those Malaysia Black Sauce Noodles and indeed it tastes like it! The texture of the noodles is so different from the usual wanton mee bought outside. Generous amount of mushroom, Charsiew, Wanton, minced meat and vegetables. Worth queueing and trying! lol

Quiznos Sub Smile Sep 25, 2013

The seats at Far East Sqaure outlet is spacious as you can get seats easily. It is a joint outlet together with Cold Stone. The motto of Quiznos Sub is catchy because it is "Mmm Mmm Toasty!" I guessed it is special because all their bread is being toasted before served and you cannot choose if you want it to be toasted or not. I ordered for the sandwich which consists of cubes of chicken, cheese, tomato, thin sliced lettuce! I like Quiznos Sub because they have free flow of pickles which goes very well with the sandwiches! lol It is sold at reasonable price as it costs less than $10 for a meal with drink.
