Koi Cafe  OK Oct 30, 2012

Categories : Taiwanese | Bubble Tea/ Tea

Bought koi drink from Tampines Central. Chose hazelnut milk tea despite there are alot of flavours to choose from. And the serving of pearls are genegous but eating those too much isn't good for the body. The hazelnut taste came from syrup and was pump into the drink and mix with ice and milk tea. It was rather cooling for the body on a sunny day and it is not expensive too ($2+)

Old Chang Kee OK Oct 25, 2012

It is my first time getting fish balls from Old Chang Kee, it costs about $1+. When i bought it, the fish-balls are still warm and definitely fill up my stomach that is looking for small snacks after lunch. The fishball is bouncy and does not taste any oil taste because i expect there will be some oil taste left on the exterior because of their deep-frying method. It was great!

Dann's Daily Pescetarian Cafe OK Oct 25, 2012

They are famous for their steamed cakes over at Dann's Daily Pescetarian Cafe as they offer healthy range of food. The steam cake is one of them and they do have different flavours for customer to choose from. And happen that that day there are chocolate, strawberry and another flavour. So i chose the strawberry flavour to try, and was served quickly. Initially the side was not chocolate but some others, but they do not have it already therefore they gave us the alternate side.
It was good! tasted fluffy, abit dense and satisfying ! (:
It costs about $2+ and the whole environment is quite, peaceful, nice place to enjoy.

The Soup Spoon  OK Sep 25, 2012

This (Waldurf) salad taste too sweet overall because it is filled with just cut fruits ( green apple ) and some nuts and raisin. It is being poured over with some of their white sauce. I felt that this is not my liking as i prefer non-sweet type of salad and it might be not that healthy too. As i preferred their casaer salad than this! It could be shared among 2 people as one pax might not be able to finish them. It costs about $7!

This is their house speciality which is called "OSD Signature Pulut" which is made up of Gultinous rice with a filling od savory sweet "Hay-bee-Hiam" (dried shrimps) in it. I felt that it tasted normal and nothing really special about it. Instead i felt that it is a little bit oily and no fragance smelled and would not try it again but perhaps other food over there. It is not cheap too which costs about $3.
