laksa yong tau foo Smile Aug 26, 2013

I decided to try the Yong Tau Foo with laksa gravy and rice from this stall. I found the laksa gravy really good. it was thick and rich in flavour. however the surface of the gravy was a little oily. there were plenty of yong tau foo ingredients to choose from as well. all were very fresh and delicious. their sweet sauce is also a must take. it was not too sweet but adds a little something to the entire dish.

Baked Bolo Char Siew Bun  Smile Aug 26, 2013

Imperial Treasure really serves very delicious dim sum. I especially found their Baked Bolo Char Siew Bun really delicious. the pastry was so fragrant, every bite you take there is this buttery tasty. it practically crumbles in your mouth. the char siew was really delicious, not only was it tasty, it was not too sweet and does not have too many fatty meat. each serving has three buns and the size of each bun was fairly large too so it was pretty filling.

orange green tea Smile Aug 26, 2013

The weather was really hot and so i wanted something citrus to quench my thirst. After browsing through the menu, i finally settled for the orange green tea. The orange flavour was a little strong in my opinion, it kind of overpower the green tea fragrance. though after every mouth, you can taste a hint of the green tea. but i felt the drink was a little more on the sour side. nevertheless, it was indeed thirst quenching.

Fried Oyster Smile Aug 26, 2013

This stall is awfully popular, when i went to the stall to order their Fried Oyster, there were already a lot of people crowding around waiting for their food to be cooked and all the stall assistants have disappeared to the kitchen behind to cook all the orders. i had to wait a good ten minutes for someone to come out and take my order. i think the fried oyster was pretty good, it did not have too much starch. there was more eggs instead. the chilli dip was very good, had a good balance of acidity and spiciness. the oysters they used were very fresh and juicy. it was such a pleasure to eat it.

chicken rice Smile Aug 26, 2013

I think Chicken Rice is one of the easiest to eat food and it could never go wrong, so when i could not decide what to eat from the wide variety of choices from Kopitiam, i ordered the Chicken Rice. It was pretty good in fact. the rice was cooked perfectly, it was not too oily. the texture was just right, not too hard not too soft. the chicken was very tender and the portion was pretty generous. the sauce that was drizzled on top of the chicken was very tasty and not too salty.
