I must not be thinking straight when i met my friend for breakfast at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf early one morning. I actually went and order their toast set which only has four slices of toasted bread, one jam pack and one butter pack and a drink. I totally regretted my choice when i saw my friend's breakfast with egg, sausage arrived and she only paid slightly more than me. well nothing much to comment, just the bread was very crispy and warm allowing the butter to melt on it.

Crystal Jade was having their night discount sale of their bread and cakes and i could not resist their black forest cake and because they did not sell slices, so i ended up buying the entire cake. it was pretty cheap with the discount. their black forest cake was very moist and the cake was light and fluffy. i love the chocolate shavings which they decorated the cake with, it kind of melts in your mouth. there were quite a lot of black currents in the cake. it was so good so worth the money. who says whole cakes are only for birthdays.

The weather is so hot and dry and the throat gets really itchy at times. So it is best to head over to Starbucks, order their thirst quenching beverage and chill there. I ordered their green tea cream with whipped cream. ice is blended to make the drink. it was blended so finely until you will not taste any coarseness. the whipped cream gave the drink a creamier taste. the green tea flavour is just so good.

I was craving for some juicy and tasty xiao long bao so i headed to the best place i can find them for dinner. of course it is Paradise Dynasty. I prefer their original flavoured ones as the soup is just simply too good. the soup is not too salty nor is it too oily. the skin is very chewy but not too thick. i felt the soup and the ginger vinegar brought out the freshness of their minced meat. it was really satisfying.

I went to McDonald's to buy back breakfast for the family. I was a little bored of the usual drinks they served with the breakfast so i opted to change my drink to Iced Latte. I never noticed they sold such drinks as i seldom look at the beverage menu. their Iced Latte tasted pretty good. it was not too sweet as they only added one pump of sugar syrup. i really like the bitterness of the drink as it really perks me up.
