Located at a quiet cozy corner of Jalan Bukit Ho Swee you can find Sin Lee Foods. One of the new cafes that you can add on to your list. They don't have a very extensive menu and the simple was priced $6, which I find it pretty expensive.

Caffe latte in a very tiny cup that well... my coffee companion doesn't give her approval of it. Croissant Royale, vegetables were too salty, salmon wasn't very fresh but the croissant was pretty good. Crispy and fragrant. Overall if you put them together they are just passable. Nothing fantastic. Poached eggs wasn't done well, so for that, I guess I didn't really enjoyed this dish. Spam Fries was probably the best dish. Sin Lee Fried Chicken Waffle, supposedly their signature dish which I find overly priced. Yes, the chicken is good but the waffle was bad. Oh, just so you know, the chicken tasted like prawn paste chicken.

Forget about the doughnuts, it sucked. Way, way too oily.

House at Dempsey Smile Nov 10, 2014

Totally love the ribs, the fries and every dish that was served. Not to mention we went there for a surprise birthday and it was a total sucess because the service was just top notched!

Hanger Steak ($36): Slightly beefy taste that I personally don't like it but the meat is really soft. Birthday girl definitely enjoyed this.

You love pork ribs ($29)? I totally love pork ribs and this-is-awesome. Okay I mean it's damn good and for the price you paid for the portion served is fantastic.

The meat is really soft and the sauce was just... Too good. Okay I'm definitely missing this as I type. I will go back again for this ribs, really.

Great place for a self reward treat as it's not exactly very cheap smile

Chicken sausage which was actually decent. Portion looks small, and is small. Not recommended for big eaters.

I got this Smoked Salmon Benedict and... I was disappointed because when I was first served with my first plate of smoke salmon benedict, my benedict burst even before I ate it.

I refuse to accept my poached eggs bursting even before touching it. So I asked for an exchange. They did exchange for me but unfortunately.. it wasn't really very good. My toast was bad. It was just like 'bread'.

Overall, sorry but no. I didn't enjoy myself and I didn't like the hollandise sauce either.

Cute theme but.. Cry Nov 10, 2014

Categories : Café | Burgers and Sandwiches

Basically in a nutshell, the place looks cute and all but the food isn't really good. Had my usual Mocha, nothing fantastic but it was good. By the way, this is large and it's $6.50 I think. I can't recall but yeah, the small one is really small. Hahahaha. We intended to chill and relax so we got the bigger one. I did not try the mains but the desserts weren't fantastic. This pretty crepe is pretty good. But a little slice like this cost you $8.50 (I think) which I think is on the high side. Service was kinda slow too and plus the waffle was extremely hard and not good. Well, the cake was passable but the price didn't really justify. You could come for experience but don't have high hopes alright.

Quick fix for your pasta craving! OK Nov 10, 2014

Categories : Spanish | Italian | High Tea

A wide variety for you to choose from pasta to mains and pizza! Lucky for us, there's this dinner promotion for $26.90 (before GST) that consist of a choice of soup/salad/tapas with choice of pasta an main! (it's half portion for both) So if you're puzzled like me not knowing which one you want or you want to try both then this is the best for you!

Garlic Chicken Wings ($6): The wings were either too good or we were too hungry cause we finished it up instantly when it was served! But, okay it's not too bad. $6 for 6 pieces of wings.

Salad that was refreshing and the sauce was overly generous. Love the crispy bread crumbs!

Overall a quick dinner place without anything wow. Valuable dinner set, else maybe you can reconsider.
