This is my first food tasting session with OpenRice, I want to express my thanks for being selected for this event.

Location
A stone throw away from 313 Somerset shopping center. Seasons Bistro is easily spotted with their huge shop sign growing in the dark, the bistro is facing the road making it easy for pass-by to notice.

Food served in sequence

This dish consists of avocado mayonnaise, pickled onions, crispy shallots, cotija cheese and made of haddock. Good for appiteizers and for sharing with 2-3pax. Fish served was warm and fresh and comliments wwell with the cheese and onions together with the crispy taco as a based.

I am not much of a foie gras fan but tried nonetheless, the foie gras tasted very chewy and was sweet thanks to the french toast beneath it. This dish consists of chocolate ganache, accompanied by bacon jam, caramelized bananas, tomatoes & granola crumbs.

Salald in this picture but might tell much but trust me the portion is easily enough to fill up 4 tummies. Filled with different kinds of vegetable, this dish is a must for the need to diet and the healther goers. Dont miss out.

Those looking to have some protein to add to your meal can go for this dish, generiously filled with slices of spiced chicken, egg and nuts to add flavor to the greens in the sharing bowl. Great start to kick off a meal.

Chicken wings and drumlets, 3-4 pieces if I am not wrong. Good to have as a side. Chicken was crispy and I felt it needed more taste, hence the tartar and ketchup was given.

The meatloaf consits of ground pork meat mixed with cornmeal and seasonings which comes with mashed potatoes. The taste was not to my cup of tea but with the sauce below, it helps to add more flavor to it.

The star dish of the night and my favourite. Bun was soft and lightly toasted with butter, beef patty was soft, chewy and juicy going well with the cheese and mushrooms. Must try for buger lovers.

The lamb meat was succulent and soft. Comes with mushrooms, asparagus. Portion was small in my view, good for sharing to try out.

Pasta was the last main of the tasting session, sad to say the pasta was overcooked. the sauce was too light which doesnt add much taste to the overall dish. Dish consists of agliatelle, chorizo sausages and homemade tomato sauce.

Dessert time ! Pecan pie with a generous huge scoop of ice cream. Love the fresh pecan which flow smoothly with the ice cream. Maple pumpkin cheesecake was soft and moist and it goes with with the cream and berries. Both dessert good to end off a delicious meal.

Was wondering aimlessly at Bugis Junction for a good lunch, chance upon this restaurant with a well decorated interior and spacious table layout.

Main Course Ordered:
1)Squid Ink Pasta
2)Riz Au Curry

The food arrived timely as it wasn't crowded. Food was piping hot and tasted fresh and yummy. Portion was generous with adequate amount of meat and toppings.

Dessert Ordered:
3)French Toast

Saving space for dessert is a must to end lunch on a high note. Apparently their top dessert is a simple dish of french toast. Was doubtful as how tasty french toast can be. Ordered and was blew out of this world as its extremely soft yet crispy on the outside.

Was at bugis aimlessly looking for a nice place to have a good Italian meal at a restaurant setting. Heard of a new store that just open which serve an interesting choice of pasta's one might not find in a normal pasta outlet.

Ordered the "Truffle Carbonara Taglitelle" which was one of their specialties. after about 10mins the food came piping hot. At first glance, the portion of the pasta with fillings such as mushrooms were generous and the tempting smell whet my appetite. The pasta was very rich and creamy and cook to perfection.

To end the dinner i ordered the signature dessert called popping cheesecake. This is the probably the first time i ate such an interesting cake that left every bite with popping action.

Would recommend pasta lovers to try this place out. Spend about $30++ per person.
