chicken rice Smile May 07, 2012

[IMG:1We ordered two plates of chicken rice to share between the 3 of us. The chicken meat is quite tender and the sauce given for the chicken further brings out the taste of the chicken. The chilli is also very nice – spicy, sourish and not too salty. I love dipping the chicken meat into the chilli sauce for an additional kick.

udon with tempura $13.90
the udon is in soy sauce soup with an egg on top, half boiled.
the most impressed is the tempura prawns which is crispy and juicy prawns.

kimuchi udon $11.90
the soup is not very spicy, acceptable for kids too.
the udon is nice, not too soft which i hated the very over cooked type.
the kimchi is flavourful and i always love kimchi!!

blueberry cake from breadtalk
the cake is very soft and fluffy, and the blueberry jam inside is really to be die for.
the cake is not too sweet, eat together with the blueberry portion, the sweetness is just nice.
i love to buy break and cakes from this shop esp when i'm alone to settle my dinner!

bubble tea
Singapore have been growing with the bubble tea shops,
more and more tea shop appear esp in the central.
I like bubble tea with a little bit more sweetness, about 70%,
which i know is not good, but couldnt resist it!
The pearl i like is more chewy and not soft type,
and i like the layer coated on it that makes it slippery.

bubble tea from Eskimo quite satisfied my requirement!

takoyaki my favourite!
The takoyaki stall always tempted me to try it whenever i walked pass the stall.
The smell from it really fragrant and nice.
finally i have the chance to try on it and it was good!
the flour ball is moist and wrapped with the baby octopus which is crunchy and juicy!
i love the bonito flakes on top which added the flavour to it!
