ginger chicken Smile May 07, 2012

Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Chinese Soup

this is the most famous dish in Soup restaurant i guess. Almost every table will have this dish. The ginger smell is quite strong but not too pungent when tasted. I can still accept it. The chicken is nicely sliced and deboned, arranged neatly in a circle on the plate, which make us convenient to eat. The chicken is tender and not dry, and i think children will love this much.

pizza! Smile May 07, 2012

The pizza took about 15mins to come and interestingly, they placed a cup of crayons for you to doodle on their paper laid table. We ordered half of Parma ham with rocket salad and another half or the cheesy hotdog. Instead of pathetic few bits and pieces of ham that you'll be given somewhere else, Peperoni was generous and had many slices of ham eventually spread on the pizza.

marmalade OK May 07, 2012

I ordered the cheese omelette egg sandwich. My omelette was suitably runny in the centre, but I would’ve like a stronger hit of emmental cheese. Portions were also quite small,
Food’s okay but really not worth the price, ambience is really nice. suitable for catching up with friends over a snack rather than for a proper meal.

The hokkaido cake is very soft,it is soft as cheese cake, just not that moist. It taste nice, because it is not very sweet, and yet very soft. It melt easily when i put in our mouth.
There are 3 flavour, walnut, pandan and original one I like the original one. It taste nice. And there are also some cream inside,so make the cake smooth and soft.

zha jiang mee Smile May 07, 2012

Zha Jiang mee
besides yong tau foo, this stall sells other type of noodle too.. Zha jiang mee, ban mian, you mian, yee mian, etc etc.. The zha jiang mian was very very very big bowl, with about one and a half servings of mee and gravy which is a bit sweet. The mee was spongy and chewy, and the auntie will give some soup broth in case the gravy too thick. And it is also $2 only!!
