Paradise Dynasty - 1st attempt OK Mar 04, 2014
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Shanghainese | Restaurant | Dim Sum | Noodles

Spicy fish filet

Spicy chicken

Colorful XLB!

My first attempt dining @ Paradise Dynasty. Nicely decorated restuarant, oriental setting and cutlery. I tried the colorful XLB. Different color consist of different fillings. I still prefer the original plain XLB. #boring
I ordered another 2 spicy dish. It's too spicy for me. Didn't enjoy it. I believe people who like to eat spicy and hot stuff would love it!

Breakfast @ Chock Full Of Beans OK Mar 04, 2014

American english breakfast @ Chock Full Of Beans. Introduce by my peers to this cafe @ Changi Village during a chalet bonding. We had our HEARTY breakfast here. I ordered Egg's Benedicts while my friend order some sausge platter with Rosti. If you're someone who likes potato, Rosti would be a good choice for you.
Egg's benedict was ok, average. A little dry, but the mushroom in between the eggs and the ham taste really good!
Overall, not bad.

DIM SUM DOLLY OK Mar 04, 2014

It's DIM SUM time! All time favourite supper places. SWEE CHOON! I've been eating swee choon since the first outlet started and now the shop has expanded in size. Business getting better and better. lollollollollol
I ordered Xiao Long Bao, Century Egg Porridge and Some pork floss roll. The pork floss roll is AWESOME! The skin is soft and thin, mini bite size. It blends well with a small cube of cucumber in the middle. It definitely makes a good starter. For the other 2 dishes, it's normal, not much of a difference. Century Porridge is a must order for me, it's sweet and it gives the congee feel. Hard to find nowadays.

DINNER OK Feb 12, 2012
Categories : Restaurant | Salads/ Acai Bowl | Kids-Friendly

This is a memorable dining for me because I have never tried this kinda restuarant setting before.

Javiers Salad BAR! They have a variety of food. They served cold and hot side dishes ranging from salad, onion rings, coleslaw, wedges, fried rice, pasta, mushrooms, soup, chowders and alot more.
Eat ALL you can. Fill up your plate with the food you want and the portion you can eat. One plate for $8.90. If you order a main dish like chicken chop for $8.90 add another $3.90 for the salad bar to fill your plate! The portion me and my friend took was nothing compared to what others take. Go there and have FUN filling up your plate! smile

SUPPER OK Feb 12, 2012
Categories : Desserts and Cakes

My 1st time ever trying Rochor beancurd. It's a very well known place to most and many will go there for SUPPER as they only open at night~
Beancurd also known as tau huay is smooth and slimy.. I will usually let the tau huay melt in between my teeth before I swallow it. The feeling is heavenly. I will usually eat tau huay with egg tart. Their egg tart is crispy and nice too. Not too sweet or bland just right. *Sorry forget to take picture of the egg tart*.
Nonetheless, I will recommend ALL to go there and try their tau huay at least once.
