There're many so-called HK food place that serve boiled coke with ginger in the form of ginger powder & it taste real bad. Here in Kim Gary, their REAL ginger with hot coke soothes my running nose~ Thumbs up for taking the trouble to prepare a drink that very few ppl order!

They are famous for the baked rice & I do like their chicken & pork baked rice alot, the meat feels like those in Fairwood~ However my new fav is the Tomato & beef speghetti, the sweet taste of tomato is very appetizing, jus makes me wan more~

Oya not forgetting their superb 1-for-1 supper deals tat suits us night-eaters~

The only thing I dun like is actually the environment, It's not a romantic place so it really doesn't have to be so dark, prefer it to be more colourful & bright for frens & family gatherings~

Really thankful that Imperial treasure brought authentic affordable dim sum into Singapore, Crystal Jade was not bad, but IT is even closer to the real HK taste. IT was the first place that made "liu sha bao" that really has "liu sha"! All other "cantonese" restaurants' "liu sha bao" look more like "nai huang bao" which disappointed me everytime.

Ngee Ann's branch is a great place for gathering any time of the day, the standard is there be it breakfast with parents, lunch with colleagues, high tea with girls or dinner with friends. Again the only prob is the long wait, even if we made reservation...

It's still much ore ex than HK... but in SG, it's considered affordable ;)

Ever since it's finally opened in Tampines, we almost forgot about Crystal Jade. Love that the very value-for-money high-tea sets, the macaroni (esp satay beef one) is of tip top quality, like wat we ate in HK when we were a child, cooked with real soup. (It's hard to find even in HK nowadays) When I eat soup noodle, even Jap ramen, I usually leave the soup at the end as its mostly consist of MSG or nothing at all. However at Imperial Treasure, I naturally finish the whole thing & wish they put more soup~

The only problem with it is that there's only like how many tables inside? Always a long queue & crowded feeling, we always think that they should take the Esprit space instead ;p It's even smaller than Kim Gary...

Recommended Dish(es):  Satay Beef Macaroni (only available during High Tea)

Ex boss brought me here for farewell lunch. Imperial treasure has always be on top of my yum cha list in Singapore due to it's closest taste & standard to HK restaurants, & this Crown Plaza branch is the best of the 3 branches I've tried!

It's boss' treat so I didn't care what was ordered, but every dish was delicious including the dessert~ Every dish is a little more 精致 than the ones at Orchard & Tampines1. Have a feeling that the price is also a little higher but tat's jus a feeling, I have no proof of tat ;p

Definitely a place to bring parents & relatives to~

After our first time @ Ksuites, one of our more well off fren has been eyeing on the huge VIP room... Finally it's his BD & thus he held a BD party @ the best VIP room in SG so far~ (I've been to Kbox one but tat couldn't compare to KSuites)

The big space is not the IT factor, it's wat's in the big space~ Besides the main K section, there's a standard size pool table, a wine bar, a 4-seater XBox section (or PSP can't rem), extra TV for watching soccer & some more sit around spaces... & we definitely love the 60' style standing mic!! & super happy to have 5 mics at 1 go so we can sing nobody altogether!

The best part is.... BD boy's treat!
