Beautiful & grand but so-so food OK Nov 20, 2010

Tried out Vivo branch with my parents as they are craving for chilli crab aft a walk there. The place is grand but the food was not worth the price. Crab's big & taste not bad, but maybe worth only 60% of the price we paid for? The bun was good though~ Overall everything feels overpriced.

The only positive thing maybe it's exaggeratedly grand decoration with dragon crawling the poles etc.
Not bad, but overpriced!

Had dinner here on a crowded Hari Raya~

My fav Teriyaki chicken burger is up to standard, very juicy & tender ;) But the seating at Tampines branch is not so comfortable, as it's open-air, ppl walking around & there's never enough seats, ever long queue. Service was ok, they are very busy all the time. The table-cleaning auntie is very frenly and already pretty quick, but the place can't be cleaned fast enough as there's too many ppl. Oya the fries here's good~ Soft & not powdery ;)

Ever since we started to "burn midnight oil" to do projects many years ago, we would see this funny advertisement of Greg (the then store manager) being confused by the customers. both my bff & I coincidentally were watching this same ad at home & tot that we shall try it out someday~ years later, we finally decided to try it out & we were then addicted!

I've brought many ppl there for gatherings & celebrations & it seems much more popular among girls~ All my girls got hooked from the starter & end the meal smiling with with a super full stomach. While the guy frens didn't have any special feeling.

Service was excellent esp the first visit, explanations of the meal & choices was thorough, waiters are all very observant on when to serve the next dish, opening wet tissue packs for us when they see we are having the lamb chops.

Sometimes I just revisit for the sake of the addictive fixed starter. Personal fav sequence is fruit salad, mushroom/pumpkin soup, steak/lamp, creme brule & rose apple tea.

This is my fav place to have lamb chop I just love the mint sauce tat comes with it~

Like what my fren say, it's the price of a buffet, but feel even more full than a buffet dinner~
The starter that got us hooked!

A toast to starting our great dinner~

We went to sent a fren off & had a farewell dinner. Everything seems average at the T2 branch, food are ok, service is ok, price is ok, the place feels ok, everything's up to expectation but nothing specially good, just a place to have decent yumcha when u r in airport~

Romantic Dessert~ Smile Nov 17, 2010

We felt romantic aft walking along the Bay & Helix Bridge, so decided on some dessert~ TCC @ Millenia Walk was a very right choice!

There's very few people at 8pm, the enclosed circular sofa seat with chandelion above was very romantic for a dessert time~ We ordered a ChocoNana Parfait to share~ love that they have rice crisps at the bottom!
Nice~~
